Dem Pollsters on New Survey: Prepare for
Our Coming Doom

Original Article

A polling firm run by Democratic pollster Doug Schoen is flashing big warning signs to the Democrats not only as to the midterms but as to their political prospects for the future. The Democrats should listen to this because it shows that now their own voters are throwing them over as well. As Schoen and his partner Carly Cooperman note, their new survey shows the Democratic prospects are “significantly deteriorating” and that the party is in an “increasingly unelectable and unsustainable position.” What’s the reason for this, in the pollsters’ view? The “ill-fated path of embracing progressive policies while overlooking manifest political realities.” It’s for this reason,

But the Gang says that Dem support is crumbling because they have failed to create the promised socialist Utopia, so which is it?

And what will Republicans do? History says they'll go full litmus test on various issues (abortion, 2A, crime, defense, security, etc.) to maintain "Real Conservative" ideological purity. The Dems will always re-group and "moderate" as populists to win elections. Eventually, they find their Bill Clinton. The real "issue" over time will be the length and depth of this bout of inflation, and who will have the political guts to wring it out of the economy. It may be the Republicans, but only after every other gimmick has failed. From 1968 to 1984 inflation cut the value of a dollar by two-thirds. (It wasn't just Jimmy Carter at fault.) Get your WIN buttons out...

Conservatives should use this opportunity to focus on Fiscal Policy, National Security, Energy Independence. Secure borders & reestablish our place at the World table. Focus on these issues and leave the social issues alone. A larger more accepting tent benefits us all. Except Pedos, feet first into a wood chipper...

A lot can happen in a year. The democrats could still bounce back. Next year, in the months before the election, the lamestream media will start their unified campaign for the democrats. Any negative coverage of the democrats this year has been solely so the media can claim that they are not simply the propaganda wing of the democrat party.

I'll believe it when I see it. One thing is undeniable - the Dem bench is pretty thin - most of the party leadership is geriatric, and the young "up and comers" are socialists, Muslim Jew-haters, and assorted crazies like Bernie Sanders with limited appeal. Any purported "moderate" dem doesn't have a chance in today's Democrat party.

You don't have to pay pollsters to come up with that result. The average Larry Lunch Bucket in the break room can tell you what's going on. When you had plenty of money in one year, low taxes, refinanced home at 1%, two fairly new cars in the driveway and vacation destinations cheap from competition, restaurants everywhere and kids out of your hair and in school - Next year you are working twelve hour days due to low workforce participation, virus Karens everywhere, you need shots or tests to cross state lines, masks in the few restaurants that are open, kids underfoot instead of on their computer class web page, blacks living around you that you support financially but they keep calling you a white supremacist. You would vote the current political party out no matter what letter they had after their name.

"Millions against Manchin": How West Virginia

Alternate headline: Joe Manchin knows how to bring home the media bacon! Punchbowl keeps tabs on political spending in key states, and claims that political activists have spent at least $10 million in West Virginia to either influence Manchin, bully him, or prepare the ground for a 2024 challenge to the incumbent Democrat. What have progressives gotten for the cash? Not much, as Manchin has largely stuck to his positions regardless, but Mountain State TV and radio stations must be loving this: Over the last year, we’ve noticed a big chunk of issue ads targeting Manchin back home. The reasons here are obvious: He’s the critical Democratic vote on nearly every issue

Fox News pulled off a remarkable turnaround in 2021. The long-dominant network began the year with a historic run at third place in the January ratings but has since rebounded in a dramatic fashion. Despite its slow start, Fox is set to finish 2021 – for the sixth year in a row – as the number one channel on basic cable, which will also mark its 20th straight year as the number one network in cable news. Fox News Media’s CEO Suzanne Scott boasted in a statement that it is the only cable news network to show growth in a year in which everyone lost viewers en mass.

After spending much of Biden’s term in relative hiding, Kamala Harris has made a lot of news lately. Unfortunately for her, none of it has been good. From blowing up on podcast hosts to claims that racism and sexism are driving her approval down, it’s been one conflict after another for the vice president. And to put it mildly, she’s handled none of it well. That’s probably why she’s doing an interview on CBS News this Sunday. When nothing else is working, get out in front of the bad news, I suppose. And while most of the interview is under embargo for several more days, we are getting some leaked snippets.

Working at the White House is a high-stress job, no doubt. It’s also the kind of job that encourages burnout after a couple of years given the workload and pressures. But Politico is reporting that there is a mass exodus of White House aides brewing, and it’s not entirely due to burnout. The Politico report comes the same month in which an article detailing turmoil and high turnover in Vice President Kamala Harris’s office appeared. Turnover in White House staff after the first year is expected. Some aides only take the job to pad their resumes. Others use the White House as a stepping stone

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is altering the rules for when health workers who test positive for COVID-19 can return to the job, saying such workers can return after seven days in isolation instead of 10. The change comes as the U.S. braces for a new wave of coronavirus cases from the heavily contagious omicron variant, which is expected to put new stress on the U.S. health care system. In a statement, the CDC said that it is recommending a seven-day isolation and quarantine period for workers in that field. "As the healthcare community prepares for an anticipated surge in patients due to Omicron, CDC is updating

Americans’ confidence in the economy is the “worst since the Great Recession,” according to a Gallup poll released on Wednesday. The Economic Confidence Index (ECI) is down to -33, which while far from the record low of -72 in October 2008, reflects a negative growing sentiment toward rampant inflation. Notably, the ECI is just as low as it was in April 2020 — the early days of the coronavirus pandemic. “With inflation in the U.S. at its highest point since 1982, Americans’ confidence in the economy has dropped to where it was in April 2020, when nationwide shutdowns brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic plunged
