I’m glad a wholesome book like the Duffy’s has done well but they are embarrassing. They are too sickeningly sweet and, like the Doublemint twins, I can easily imagine them riding a tandem bike, wearing matching outfits and singing “Just That Kinda Day.” Already a TV personality, Sean Duffy was 28 on 9/11 but decided to serve in the House rather than the military at a time when many of his peers risked it all for this country. When he sits next to men like Johnny Joey Jones or Pete Hegseth or Dan Bongino he looks so small. And yet here he and his perky wife are, suddenly up front and center all over Fox AND with the obligatory Fox on-air talent book which isn’t even ghost written but merely transcribed stories told by other people. It’s too formulaic and they are banal.

Personally, I find the Duffy's refreshing. Cute couple with a ton of kids, they are successful because they work hard and make good decisions. Their book is about people and their Christmas family traditions. I can't see how someone can criticize that.

Hooray for school boards mentioned in #8. Amazon doesn't like to admit that authors associated with the Daily Wire are selling in the top spots. Amazon even de-platformed the little cardboard book ''Johnny the Walrus'' by Matt Walsh. Shapiro, Klavan and Owens are also huge best-sellers.

If you read the 1619 Project stuff or any CRT material in general you are immediately struck by one thing: It is incredibly poorly written. It reflects a paltry vocabulary, an inability to express a coherent thought and no trace of narrative or cause-and-effect. Propaganda, whatever its many other faults, is often slick, tested, focused, direct. CRT/1619 is none of these. Instead, CRT/1619 sounds like a term paper from a college sophomore who showed up to about half the classes at the beginning of the semester, skimmed a couple of chapters of the text and thought she'd try her hand at this academia thing.

It's amazing how the Democrats, with straight faces, want to "hold America accountable" for 1619, but don't ever talk about the Democrats' culpability in 1862 (the President of the Confederacy was a Democrat), and 1896 (Plessy v. Ferguson separate but equal brought to you by the same southern Democrats). It's like the Nazi Party trying to tell post-war Germany that they're a new and improved Nazi Party that fired all the "bad" Nazis.

VATICAN CITY -The Vatican on Saturday warned conservative Roman Catholics who have balked at Pope Francis' decision to restrict the old traditionalist Latin Mass that they were sowing division and engaging in "sterile polemics". The Vatican department overseeing sacraments and liturgy issued a directive in response to bishops' requests for clarification following a document in July in which Francis overturned decisions by his two predecessors and tightened access to the Mass. Since July some conservatives, including bishops, have openly defied the pope, resulting in the latest chapter of what some have dubbed the Church's "liturgy wars". Religious conservatives in the

LOS ANGELES -- Leading California cannabis companies warned Gov. The letter signed by more than two dozen executives, industry officials and legalization advocates followed years of complaints that the heavily taxed and regulated industry was unable to compete with the widespread illegal economy, where consumer prices are far lower and sales are double or triple the legal business. Four years after broad legal sales began, “our industry is
