Fox News must be thrilled to finally be rid of Chris Wallace, the only recognizable name at Fox regularly murdered by the competition. On Sunday, Wallace announced he was going to work for CNN. Oops, I mean CNN+, which will be CNN’s soon-to-be-failed streaming service.Well, let’s first point out Chris Wallace has always been working for CNN. So with this humiliating career demotion, all he’s doing now is making it official. But back to the ratings…
Whatever you think of Fox News — and other than a couple of people over there, I do not think much of Fox News — it’s not just a cable news juggernaut, it’s a cable TV juggernaut.

Chris Wallace is a flaming liberal. I am so glad to see him go. I agree with #1. Get rid of Neil Cavuto as well.

I'm still trying to get over the loss of Tony Snow. I also miss Tim Russert. He was a democrat in the old sense of the word. He was fair and offered a tough interview to everyone no matter who they were. I wouldn't walk across the street to see Chris Wallace even if they were handing out free drinks and pizza. I can't say I will miss him since I never watched him.

Our household policy has always been to switch stations whenever Wallace appeared. Dishonest journalist!

I love Nolte, and almost always listen to a female voice read his column to me. That was fun. Nolte ''is going to LOL all over that!''

I watched Fox News Sunday only when Tony Snow was the host. Tony was always wonderful.

#3 and #6, I, too, miss Tony Snow and this story has made me think of him again and again. A huge loss with his death at such a young age. A true gentleman and top journalist.

Geez. Never watched him but I used to point him out as proof Fox was “Fair and Balanced”. They still have Juan Williams and Geraldo but Juan seems to be losing his cognizance. I hope its not Alzheimer’s. I have had three close friends die from that in the last few years. I wouldn’t wish that on anybody even a leftist.

In their original network form (circa 1965-1970) the Sunday morning shows featured a panel of distinguished print journalists and a host/moderator that rotated questioning of a single guest. It was very structured and civil with both sides showing enough respect to ask real questions and respond with real (not spin) answers. It was with the election of Nixon during the darkest days of the Vietnam War that seemed to transform the Sunday shows into "gotcha" questioning and "spin doctor" responders. By the time Reagan was elected all respect between the left and right had been lost and everything was "gotcha" on steroids from TV personalities and teleprompter readers rather than journalists.
Chris Wallace was only hired because he was the son of a real journalist. He never did any original news and simply feigned neutrality while reading the canned questions from his producers. Like Stefanopoulos, Todd, Brennan, et al, Wallace is a clueless celebrity in a clown packed version of "The Truman Show". The longer people watch these shows, the dumber they get. Switch to the Golf Channel and do your brain a favor.

Well yes Chris was never much good. However, two American professions prove every day that if you have the right connections and/or looks, you don’t have to be all that smart or professional. Those two professions would be government or cable media. The handlers can train you to look fairly competent reading a script.

I was a little bit surprised. I would have thought Chris Wallace would have moved to MSNBC.

Until Fox News starts widely publishing the truth about ivermectin and the defeat of Wuhan flu in Uttar Pradesh, and the facts that the mRNA shots are far more dangerous than any other vaccines in the last 50 years, I will still know that they are faking it and Fox is still just another Fake News network.

Fox News even banned me from posting on their web page for reasons only obvious to them. To which I dropped em like a bag of rocks. Guess you can say I cancelled em right Vern? Vern says I cancelled em!

It was Sunday morning talk shows that gave us FJB. For decades you could reliably find Botox Joe babbling on Wallace’s show or one of the other ones just about every other week. He was referred to as “Street meat “ because he never turned down a Sunday show. So when Obama got the nomination he really didn’t know anything about national politics and mistook Joe for a real player and chose him as his running mate based on his frequent Sunday show appearances.

I wouldn't be surprised if his contract was about to end. That's what happened to Goldberg and Hayes. Maybe Fox is ginning up for the Conservative swing that's headed our way
