A far-left columnist for The Washington Post is being ruthlessly ridiculed for his extraordinary take that former President Donald Trump is to blame for Russian President Vladimir Putin’s newfound aggression toward Ukraine. But according to columnist David Ignatius, this theory makes sense.“Russian President Vladimir Putin’s path toward threatening an invasion of Ukraine is marked by reckless actions. In this move toward defiance of international norms, Putin has been subtly encouraged by former president Donald Trump, a fellow traveler in recklessness,” Ignatius writes.“We don’t need any conspiratorial analysis of Trump’s links with Russia to make this case. We just need look at the facts.

I don’t believe it is possible to come back to sanity once you have crossed the rubicon of self-immolating hatred of Donald John Trump. No amount of facts, evidence or logical argument can save you. It appears this author is lost to the sane world. Pity. Losing one’s ability to reason must be disturbing, but no. Not for the democrat faithful. They are totally without self-awareness.

Biden's been Prez almost 12 months now. It's time the press put away the Trump boogeyman, and hold Biden accountable for the multiple Sh** Storms he has created. People aren't stupid... well, most aren't.

Not to brag but I've been saying this for many years about the liberal mind's inability to even try to reason.
It is like we all have nuts and bolts within our brains, but within the liberal's brain, the bolts cannot find the nuts!!!

They only thing driving Russian, Chinese, and Iranian aggression right now was that shambolic withdraw from Afghanistan, a Potus who often has trouble completing a sentence, and an Executive Branch staffed with naive ideologues and academics.

It should be noted that Russian aggression was stalled while Trump was President. During the Obama administration support for Ukraine consisted of hot air and blankets, but no military hard. . So Russia invaded and subsequently annexed the Crimean Peninsula from Ukraine. With Biden in office support for Ukraine consisted of hot air, but no military hard. Just think how much military hardware he could have provide to Ukraine if he had removed it from Afghanistan instead of giving it to the Taliban.

Biden"s misguided policies are responsible for all kinds of havoc at home and around the world. Yet, Biden and his minions accept responsibility for nothing. The blame is always passed on to those negatively effected by the policies or Trump.

Ignatius Is just “Trump-eting” the party line. Vilify DJT however and whenever it is possible to do so. No rhyme or reason is necessary. I am astonished that some on the lefty side are calling him out.

Did David Ignoramus remember that President Trump released the sale of Javelin anti-tank missiles after the Obama administration and their negotiator, Hunter Biden, held them up--for more kickbacks? Is it a coincidence that spell check changed his last name? I think not.

Only logical way its Trumps fault is because he lost the stolen election to Biden.

until something happens and the commies are run out of our news agencies, we will not have the kind of news dissemination we used to have but, even then, the news was slanted toward the leftists, now they are outright, blatant communist, but no one wants to say the word, communist
what the hell are they afraid of in the non-commie news camp?

It makes no sense to try to have a rational discussion about Ignatius and even Eli Lake's observations. Putin's aggression, China's expansion, inflation, the horrible tornado devastation this weekend is all Trump's fault, because it's Trump. Period. These people are that bat crap crazy.

contrary to FDR the only thing today's dim party has to offer is fear itself. From Anthropogenic Global Warming/Climate Change to Trump is Hitler reincarnated fear is all they have to offer. For decades all of their proclaimed successes have failed. They must keep the voters frightened and believing only dim governance can save them.

Just wondering...if President Trump is responsible for putin's aggression now...what happened during obama's reign of terror when Putin walked into Crimea without any concern from the US?...how was President Trump responsible for that little international aggression?...as stupid as biden is....obama is second in command...and not much smarter...his legacy is being formed as WE speak...history will always remember who pulled Mr. Magoo's strings...

If the Left did not have a demented freak President and a totally incompetent train wreck VP installed in the White House they could probably gain some traction with the totally uninformed by blaming President Trump. As it is they just look more hapless, more defensive and really really dumb with this tactic.
