History appears to be repeating itself on MSNBC as its primetime stars, again, buried the hate crime hoax that has now resulted in the conviction of disgraced "Empire" star Jussie Smollett. Smollett was found guilty on five of the six charges against him stemming from 2019 allegations that he was the victim of a racist and homophobic hate crime, which was later revealed he orchestrated. However, after the breaking news was mentioned on "The Beat with Ari Melber," Smollett's conviction was completely ignored by "ReidOut" host Joy Reid, "All In" host Chris Hayes, "The Rachel Maddow Show" host Rachel Maddow,"

Comments:

Stalin's media never mentioned the widespread famine either. He would be proud of MSNBC.

If Boy George had to do time then Jussie Smollett should have to. An orange jump suit raking leaves in the park and picking up trash would be nice, Boy George did it. MAGA

The Los Angeles Times, which used barrels of ink on the story following the alleged incident, devoted not a single line of print to Smallet’s conviction. In the fine tradition of Pravda, the American media’s apparent philosophy is that a tree falling in the forest makes no sound if there is no one around to hear it.

Down the memory hole. Orwell tried to give us a cautionary tale but instead provided the Left wth a how-to manual.

"No, my cat is not dangerous," says Iranian animal lover Mostafa, outraged by a proposal from ultraconservative lawmakers to ban pets. The 25-year-old, who runs a pet supplies shop on busy Eskandari Street in downtown Tehran, is stunned. "Crocodiles can be called dangerous, but how can rabbits, dogs and cats be dangerous?" he asked incredulously about the bill introduced a month ago. The proposed law pits growing numbers of people with pets against those who consider the practice decadent and hold that under Islamic law dogs, like pigs, are unclean. SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Forget speeding tickets — California truck drivers will soon have to watch out for pollution tickets. State regulators on Thursday voted to crack down on heavy duty trucks weighing more than 14,000 pounds (6,350 kilograms) — those big semi-trailers that make up just 3% of all vehicles in California but spend so much time on the road they account for more than half of all pollution from cars and trucks each year. New rules will require these big trucks, including ones from other states passing through Califonria — to be tested at least four times per year to make sure they

Time magazine revealed a controversial pick for its “athlete of the year” award on Thursday handing the crown to U.S. gymnast Simone Biles, not because she did well, but because she pulled out of events during the delayed 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Biles had a relatively poor showing at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo winning only a silver and bronze medal in two events, compared to the handful of golds she won during the 2016 Olympics. DAVIS, Calif. — Banana peels, chicken bones and leftover veggies won't have a place in California trashcans under the nation's largest mandatory residential food waste recycling program that's set to take effect in January. The effort is designed to keep landfills in the most populous U.S. state clear of food waste that damages the atmosphere as it decays. When food scraps and other organic materials break down they emit methane, a greenhouse gas more potent and damaging in the short-term than carbon emissions from fossil fuels. To avoid those emissions, California plans to start converting residents' food waste into compost or

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — The number of Americans fully vaccinated against COVID-19 reached 200 million Wednesday amid a dispiriting holiday-season spike in cases and hospitalizations that has hit even New England, one of the most highly inoculated corners of the country. New cases in the U.S. climbed from an average of nearly 95,000 a day on Nov. 22 to almost 119,000 a day this week, and hospitalizations are up 25% from a month ago. The increases are due almost entirely to the delta variant, though the omicron mutation has been detected in about 20 states and is sure to spread even more.

The Food and Drug Administration is asking a judge to give it 75 years to produce data concerning the Pfizer and BioNTech vaccine, up 20 years from a previous request. The FDA told the court it can work faster than its previously proposed 500-pages-per-month rate, but it also said there are more than 59,000 more pages than mentioned in an earlier filing. That discovery, and a desire to make sure it can work on other Freedom of Information Act requests at the same time, prompted the fresh request to the judge to allow production of roughly 12,000 pages by Jan. 31, 2022, and 500
