The story gripping America is violent crime.
It is the most important story out there now, and nurtured by woke rogue prosecutors in big cities across the country, many of them supported by leftist billionaire George Soros and other wealthy political donors like him.
From murders to mob action, to those videos of looters and smash-and-grabs in high-end retail outlets right before Christmas, from innocents, including bus drivers beaten to a pulp by street mobs, to politicians blaming the victims and the citizens avoiding the downtowns out of fear. It’s all of a piece.
The increase of violent crime is the number one issue in America.

Soros prosecutors. They don't actually prosecute anyone.

America has a George Soros problem. We should have put a bow on his head and gifted him to Putin a long time ago. The death and misery that this little stukach is responsible for rivals the CCP and Dr. Fauxci himself.
Monsters.

One poster on that site made an astute observation. What happens when the productive citizens, the taxpaying citizens, leave for greener and safer places. The city disintegrates like Detroit. It's a snowball effect...the worse a city starts failing, the more people see what's happening and won't move to Chicago even for a higher paying job. Down it goes...a huge decline and no influx of new taxpayers to offset it.

All the people responsible for the crime and chaos are elected officials, some for multiple terms. Don't blame the scorpion for killing the frog in the middle of the pond and drowning them both. It's just its nature. Blame the gullible frog for believing the scorpion's lies in the first place.

Well, good for John Kass. I wondered why we saw less and less of him from the Chicago Trib (where he was ofen behind a paywall). They went after him for opposing George Soros’s huge $ support of liberal local DAs in cities across the country. Here is a link to his last CT column i which he explains what happened to him:

There should be a law that revokes bodyguards for Governors, mayors, and DAs if the crime rate goes above a certain amount. That will get their attention.

In Washington state, April 2020, the ACLU and other activist groups sued the state to release ALL prisoners over the age of 50 because of the china flu. Our state Supreme Court ruled 5 to 4 against them. By ONE vote, Gary Ridgeway, the Green River Killer is still in prison. He was convicted of murdering 49 women but is thought to have killed 100, they just haven't found their bodies yet. And a monster called David Rice Lewis, who on Christmas Eve 1985, invaded a home in Seattle and brutally beat to death a family of four, the father, mother and their two young sons. They were complete strangers to him, he targeted them because he thought they were Jews and communists. The family were neither. The evil monsters among us aren't just the ones who commit such horrible crimes but also the ones who want them walking freely among us, the innocent.

I have pointed out the historically relevant situations several times, along the lines of #10's comment.
In the 19th century, when official law was not present, or was dysfunctional, Committees of Vigilance were formed in various places by the good citizens. One of the largest and most prominent places was San Francisco in the 1850s. In various different places the results varied from some with being a rough approximation of a normal justice system, trials, judges, perhaps even juries, before punishment was passed. In other places, Vigilance Committees were thinly veiled lynch mobs.
In all cases that I am familiar with, the criminals were well known to the people, and they were dispatched, usually hanged, making the locale safer for normal people.
Beware of false, ineffective "justice systems" as We, the People, have very deep but truly finite reserves of patience when it comes to harm coming to our loved ones, especially our children and womenfolk. The snapback can be very, very ugly. These people do not want to provoke that. Mr. Rittenhouse was just the tiniest tip of a large iceberg.
Justice really had BETTER be served in the Wakeshau parade case. It will be unacceptable for that worthless Soros prosecutor to set that intentional racist killer free.

An open society cannot exist without law and order. Clearly the left is on the side of criminals. They are the ones releasing felons from prison under the most illogical pretenses. Sane people do not even consider allowing the worst in our society to walk free because they will revert to the only life they know. The job of government is protect its citizens and Democrats are failing us massively. Democrat run cities have become dangerous to the point that people are fleeing to safer environs. Unfortunately, many bring their leftist views with them and so begins the cycle of destruction they just left. Half the country has been driven mad because they fail to think critically and mindlessly follow the leftist dogma. Leftism creeps into your communities and before you know it, the non thinkers have been proselytized by these leftists and use the desire of the locals to be part of the in crowd. They don’t come to fit in, they come to bring change to the yokels some of when are easily lead. It is all quite like the atmosphere in high school. The desire to appear something you are not is easily exploited by those who see themselves as superior. This is how the left gains a toe hold into the community. Many nice little communities have been ruined because of this strategy. What was once a beautiful place to live and grow a family becomes toxic and unsafe. The push to the left is constant and unyielding and before you know it, radicals are elected and law and order becomes compromised by ideologues who complete the vicious cycle that has destroyed many cities. Leftism is the greatest destructive force in this country.

The SJW bit is only a pose to allow the criminally insane to run wild with impunity. Antifa and BLM, MeCHa and La Raza, etc. are fronts for organized crime and much more powerful than the Mob ever was. It is significant that Saul Alinsky got his ideas for Rules for Radicals by embedding himself with Al Capone’a gang and learning about what he called “community organizing” but is more accurately termed “predatory behavior against innocents.” Today’s Alinsky followers or gangsters are in the FBI, large city leadership, Washington DC, etc.
We citizens are hapless until we decide otherwise. Trump, a flawed human being just like we all are but a magnificent patriot, took it upon himself to turn America away from a descent into hell. I suggest we listen to him closely and support him and his ideas.

Look at Kyle Rittenhouse, look at the McCroskey's. They want us to be forced to defend ourselves so that they can blame our right to bear arms for the ensuing mayhem.
They are achieving a completely arbitrary rule of the powerful elite replacing the rule of law. The laws are so broad and deep you probably break half a dozen before your cheerios are digested in the morning. Then through selective enforcement complete arbitrary dictatorial rule is established.
You can tell John Kass comes from Chicago. Outsiders speak of the South side crime but the West side is as bad if not worse.

A rogue prosecutor is everyone's problem. It means they are corrupt. The Marxists have targeted these positions to undermine justice.
The criminals will run free and patriots will be persecuted, maybe put in a DC gulag. These DA's should be incarcerated with no bail.

I would encourage everyone to review the link provided by #6. There are few journalists who are as well-heeled and morally upright as John Kass. I really miss him since the Trib bought out his employment last June. Shame on the Trib's guild for its hit piece on Kass.
Cancel the guild.
As for Georgie Boy Soros, he looks like death warmed over. I can't imagine that he will be on this side of the ground for much longer. But his kid will follow in his footstep and continue to poison our political and judicial cultures, then here we go again. Ugh.

I fear the police and LE in general have all but been castrated. The final end point is US vs Them. The citizens that are productive and obey the law and want a civil society. The predators are now allowed to freely rob, loot and beat us at will.
What will it take to turn the tide?

So WE all know that soros is responsible for the crime in the cities by installing incompetent prosecutors...my next question is why?...what's his game plan here...a deteriorating city spells an exodus of citizens...what does soros hope to gain with this action...he is in to the new world order because he thinks he will run the show...but.tearing down the business base and frightening the citizens serves no purpose...unless... he's hoping for a total destruction of the rule of law...so he can issue martial law and take over the country....

This is Portland's big problem right now. Add to it the DA is from the highly corrupted city of NOLA and you have a nasty problem. He has freely admitted to having buddies in Antifa/BLM and you will never see prosecutions against any of these people. Multiply this maybe a couple hundred times nationwide and we have a huge problem.

The pain will continue for some time.
The middle class votes with it's feet --- when they can. This is how decent somewhat smaller cities turn into crime ridden rat holes. Think Detroit, Newark, Baltimore, St. Louis, Memphis, etc. Money moved out and took stability with it.
However, the much larger cities that are spread out --- like New York City, Philadelphia, Chicago, Los Angeles, etc. --- can withstand huge increases in crime as it is almost always in certain areas --- not everywhere.
No one cared about crime in NYC under Mayor Dinkins until it hit the chichi areas of Brooklyn (like the Heights and Park Slope) or in Manhattan like Park Avenue and the UES. Only then could a Republican (Giuliani) get elected.

Liberals are either incredibility stupid or want to intentionally tear down our society. Either way, they will come down with everyone else.

James Bond novels and movies usually (always?) have a super villain bent on taking over the world. I've long thought of George Soros as a real life villain and a thoroughly evil man and rotten to the core. Hell is not hot enough for him.
