New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced Monday a first-in-nation COVID-19 vaccine mandate on all private workers that will take effect after Christmas, greatly expanding rules that apply to city workers to roughly 184,000 businesses. Mr. de Blasio will also require proof of vaccination for 5- to 11-year-olds for indoor dining, fitness and entertainment venues—an existing rule for older persons in the city—starting Dec. 14. Additionally, children of those ages must get vaccinated by Dec. 14 to participate in extracurricular activities such as sports, band, orchestra and dance. “New York City will not give a single inch in the fight against COVID-19.

Screwing the people until his last day. Predictable. Hopefully people ignore this mandate and Eric Adams reverses it on his first day in office. What a horrible, horrible excuse for a man. Good riddance!

Amazing how we all are mandated to get the vax yet WELFARE recipients and ILLEGALS, SCOTUS and CONGRESS do not have the same mandate. So hard working citizens will lose their job if not Jabbed and yet illegals can roam the country without test or vax. Sound FAIR to you? I thought it was JUSTICE FOR ALL. There is something very wrong with this Jab.

This is slowly, too slowly, wending it's way through our courts. AFAIK, there is one or two national court orders stopping any firing of SOME classes of workers. Why isn't this ALL classes of workers protected while this CLEARLY illegal order(s) are officially adjudicated? There needs to be a national stay on ALL job actions against ANYONE for vaccinations until this is finally adjudicated. I am confident that it will be found unconstitutional and totally blocked.

In case there was any doubt, this should clear things up. DeBlasio is pulling a Hitler move, as in "Is Paris burning?" Tyrants frequently decide to pull the house down on the heads of its inhabitants when they are forced out of office. DeBlasio/Wilhelm certainly fits the description. And if you think your next mayor is going to be a significant improvement, guess again. Ever see "The Emperor Jones"?

The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine could be significantly less effective against the newly discovered Omicron variant that it was against previous strains of the virus. Researchers at the African Health Research Institute (AHRI) found that there are forty times less antibodies in Pfizer vaccine recipients that can fight Omicron than there are for other variants. The pre-print study, made available Tuesday pending peer-review, implies that the vaccine could be less effective against the strain detected last month in South Africa. Conclusions from it cannot yet be drawn, though, and researchers are not yet sure how much more likely the Omicron variant is to cause infection

A modern-day slavery ring has been busted in Georgia where workers were raped, kidnapped and imprisoned in squalid camps, according to prosecutors. The crooks raked in more than $200 million by luring in over 100 desperate migrants from Mexico and Central America to the US, a federal indictment says. At least two people died in the brutal conditions that saw workers forced to handpick onions at gunpoint for just 20 cents per bucket in sweltering heat, and another was repeatedly kidnapped and raped. They were kept in squalid camps surrounded by electric fences or cramped living quarters, including dirty trailers with raw sewage leaks.
