Of course you love your job. Make sure you have that fake smile on at all times. And clean that "brown" nose every hour on the hour. Don't forget to Twitter how it went.

Up until FDR's presidency, his official staff numbered exactly THREE. The Brownlow Commission made recommendations to increase White House staff to about 500. I have to wonder exactly how many staff members the VP has. And I have to wonder how many stAff members the VP actually needs.

Investors and journalists have been openly questioning whether Apple CEO Tim Cook, once praised for his deep-rooted connections within the CCP, has allowed his relationships in China to sour as the US has stepped up criticisms over human rights - treatment of the Uyghers in Xinjiang and elsewhere - and Taiwan. These ties have grown intensely controversial, eliciting criticism from lawmakers, rivals and even the company's own employees. And just as the SEC prepares to boot dozens of Chinese companies off of US stock exchanges for refusing to comply with US audit standards (something the CCP has expressly forbidden under the auspices of data privacy), reporters

During Monday’s episode of The Psaki Show, New York Post reporter Steven Nelson made the most of his infrequent opportunities to question Press Secretary Jen Psaki by invoking news about Hunter Biden’s Chinese business dealings and Miranda Devine’s new book about Hunter’s laptop. However, Psaki wanted nothing to do with either of them Nelson began by citing a new and “big report” out of the Biden administration concerning “corruption” as a way of asking “two quick and hopefully pretty easy questions about that” (which ironically cited art sales as a key vehicle for money laundering).

Mr. President, you have to unmute yourself. President Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday opened a two-hour summit with waves hello — and some Biden virtual-meeting technical difficulties — before discussing concerns that Russia may invade Ukraine. The Biden team closed the meeting’s start to US reporters, but Russian state media published video of an amicable introduction and the Kremlin released an image that showed Biden waving with a smile on his face.Biden seemed to start the dialogue with his microphone muted as his lips moved without audio.“I welcome you, Mr. President,” Putin said through a translator.

White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki refused to say who'd bought Hunter Biden's recently-sold stake in a Chinese firm - and snubbed a question on whether she now believed the president's son's notorious stolen laptop was real. Psaki visibly bridled when asked by the New York Post Monday about who'd bought Biden's share in Bohai Harvest RST (Shanghai) Equity Investment Fund Management Company, a private equity firm headquartered in Shanghai. 'The president's son is not an employee of the federal government,' Psaki replied. 'So I'd point you to his representatives.'

The threat of an invasion will be the central subject of President Biden’s video call with Putin on Tuesday. Biden is expected to warn of dire consequences should Russia follow through with a military offensive, while Putin is expected to reiterate his ultimatum that NATO should not allow Ukraine to join its military alliance. The outcome of the video call could have major implications as Putin weighs the potential costs of a full-fledged invasion of Ukraine.

Students from families earning more than $114,000 a year borrow at the same rate as the lowest-income students — and they take out loans nearly twice as large. Students with advanced degrees — lawyers, doctors and others — account for 40% of all student debt.
