A President Betrayed by Bureaucrats: Scott
Atlas’s Masterpiece on the COVID Disaster

Original Article

I’m a voracious reader of Covid books but nothing could have prepared me for Scott Atlas’s “A Plague Upon Our House,” a full and mind-blowing account of the famed scientist’s personal experience with the Covid era and a luridly detailed account of his time at the White House. (snip)Atlas’s book has exposed a scandal for the ages. It is enormously valuable because it fully blows up what seems to be an  fake story involving a supposedly Covid-denying president who did nothing vs. heroic scientists in the White House who urged compulsory mitigating measures consistent with prevailing scientific opinion. Not one word of that is true.

Comments:

The president, of course, is Donald J. Trump.

FTA: "Trump got an earful and gradually came around to a more rational view than that which caused him to wreck the American economy and society with his own hands and against his own instincts." PDT was a businessman who virtually always depended on "experts" in everything. This was his downfall in COVIDS response. The experts represented government, and they had an opportunity to "expand the empire" using COVID as the lever. Anyone who trusts government to be anything but self-serving in such matters is a fool. The "public health" wing saw its chance to profit and grabbed it. PDT just took the experts' words...allowing Fauci and Birx full access to the "bully pulpit" that is the presidency, usurping its legitimacy by speaking for the government and Donald J. Trump. That should NEVER have happened. The leader must maintain leadership. PDT gave it away. There is much more here than anyone will admit or even see. The fear peddlers have had two years to bully the Karens and Kyles into submission. And it has taken hold. Among "conservatives" PDT's savior "Project Warp Speed" vaccines have become Biden's poison. How'd that happen? And now we are caught in a web with no basis in science, only politics. Information is most likely to be disinformation...lies...to maintain the fiction. Every cough and sneeze brings warnings of a new variant...something possibly very dangerous, reportedly filling ICUs while heroes work furiously to save lives. Hope they're using those ventilators that PDT had produced under wartime production authority...supported by many "real conservatives". And now it's steady as she goes...COVIDS into the future for as long as it takes.

By far, the biggest mistake of Trumps life. If Scott Atlas knew about all of this, there are better things to do than just quit, wait a couple of years and then write a book about how corrupt everyone is.

"When Atlas would raise doubts about Birx, Jared Kushner would repeatedly assure him that “she is 100% MAGA.” " This confirms my suspicions of Kushner. He was a liberal albatross to our president,

IMHO, Trump was a W Bush when this crisis was unleashed. Nothing to draw from, except advice from outsiders. If he trusted his gut, I never saw evidence. It was a lose/lose situation for him.

How easy to do the 20/20 hindsight armchair quarterbacking when it conveniently forgets that people were dying of this mysterious disease. Here and all over the world. Makes it easier to blame the guy whose desk is where the buck stops.

Hindsight, nothing, #6/7. Some of us were saying these exact same things here from the beginning and taking flak from the Trumpistas. To pull out the "Never Trump" monicker now/again is just an illustration of an unwillingness to see reality and cheapshot those with whom one may not agree. I'm sure, based on the best "advice" available, PDT plainly mismanaged this crisis from the beginning, putting the nation on a "war footing" to misapply the Defense Production Act and whiz billions into Project Warp Speed that produced these now questionable, untested "innovative" vaccines being foisted on the nation by waivers - and besides harmful to some, they don't work well, if at all. Now it's Biden's poison. PDT could have stood up for the same "emergency authorization" by his FDA for hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin, among other treatments. Fauci and Birx were retained. I suppose Jared Kushner talked him out of all that, too. America is being sold a bill of goods. PDT contributed to the route that brought us to the current day.

The White House’s new plan to combat corruption—both domestically and overseas—seeks to, among other things, add new regulations on the real estate industry. The United States’ Strategy on Countering Corruption, a 38-page document released Dec. 6, outlines five pillars characterizing its goals. These are: modernizing, coordinating, and resourcing U.S. government efforts to fight corruption; curbing illicit finance; holding corrupt people accountable; preserving and strengthening the capacity to fight corruption; and improving diplomatic engagement, and leveraging foreign assistance resources to fight corruption.(snip)“We recognize that any approach that we take is going to have burdens on the real estate industry.

Most Americans once were mostly in agreement about what happened on December 7, 1941, 80 years ago this year. But not so much now, given either the neglect of America’s past in the schools or woke revisionism at odds with the truth. The Pacific war that followed Pearl Harbor was not a result of America egging on the Japanese, not about starting a race war, and not about much other than a confident and cruel Japanese empire falsely assuming that its stronger American rival either would not or could not stop its transoceanic ambitions. Critical race theory has become the philosophic foundation supporting a Marxist communist agenda sweeping American society, according to philosophy professor Jason Hill. Acting as racial managers or agents for African Americans, practitioners of critical race theory (CRT) are after power and aim to “destroy all those foundational values, all those codified values, and principles that we use in times of crisis,” Hill said in a recent interview with Epoch TV’s “American Thought Leaders” program. Critical race theorists “want to first erase personal identity, then erase history, erase those codified values to usher in a new, what I would call, Marxist communist agenda in our society,” he added.

Were you following the news this last week? Vaccine mandates are everywhere: one country, after another, is doubling-down, to try to force, or legally compel, full population vaccination. The mandates are coming because of the massive uptick in Covid – most of all in the places where the experimental mRNA gene therapies were deployed en masse(snip) There are ‘higher interests’ at play here. It is driven rather by fear that the window for implementing its series of ‘transitions’ in the U.S. and Europe is closing.
