Biden’s vaccine mandate for private employers

Sen. Joe Manchin III, a key swing vote for the White House’s agenda, is backing a Republican-led effort to overturn President Biden’s national vaccine mandate for private businesses. Mr. Manchin, a West Virginia Democrat, plans to co-introduce a resolution disapproving of the mandate within the Senate next week. “I do not support any government vaccine mandate on private businesses,” he said. “That’s why I have cosponsored and will strongly support a bill to overturn the federal government vaccine mandate for private businesses.” Mr. Manchin argued that while he supported every American getting vaccinated against the coronavirus, it was inappropriate for the federal government to make demands of private employers.

It’s also inappropriate of employers to make such demands of employees. Whether to get the jab should be a private and personal decision.

The Biden administration has been using Medicare compliance investigations to force vaccines on hospitals. They just closed 4 hospitals in Houston. Hopefully, the tyrants will get the punishment they deserve, which should be severe.

You know what is scary, read H.R. 550 that the 80 republicans voted for. This opens the door to immunization passports. It's a very short bill. https://www.congress.gov/bill/117th-congress/house-bill/550/text Look at the areas of concern: Section (a)(1)(b)(i) "....increase consistency in PATIENT MATCHING ..... How can you do any "PATIENT MATCHING" without identifying a patient? Section (a)(1)(b)(iv) "improving secure bidirectional exchange of immunization record data...." This implies identification of who was immunized Section (a) (1)(b)(vi) "...adaption of system functional standards of the CDC and maintenance of security standards to protect individually identifiable health information" So much for no names or PII. Some areas are very general that will allow CDC more monitoring or change in scope.
