A teenage boy has been charged with terrorism and murder after a school shooting in Michigan, United States.
Police allege Ethan Crumbley killed four classmates at Oxford High School with a 9mm semiautomatic handgun on Tuesday, The Sun reports.
Eight others, including a teacher, were injured in the shooting.
The students killed have been identified as Tate Myre, 16, Hana St. Juliana, 14, and Madisyn Baldwin, 17.
Posts which appear to have been shared on his Instagram page show the baby-faced suspect also shared a picture of a gun just days before the shooting.
I'm not defending the boy but he gets charged with terrorism for his social media and text history but the Christmas parade killer whose social media was racist, who actually made a bomb threat in Nevada for which he was still on the run for isn't being charged with terrorism? Definitely not equal treatment under the law.
As for the boy, he was probably indoctrinated by the left-wing lunatics that hate Christ!

I’m sure he was not part of any cult. Just a stupid, withdrawn kid who did something evil on an impulse. I blame his parents in part for not locking up the guns when they knew he had emotional issues. He could just as easily have shot them.

Schools across metro Detroit are closed today, due to threats. I don't understand how kids can see this kid in the court video, in a suicide prevention suit, facing life in prison, and not figure out that shooting up your school is a bad thing. The only possible explanation is that kids are dumb.

As a parent, these parents must take some responsibility. Knowing that you have a troubled teen in your home, you just don't buy firearms and leave them laying around. This boy needed help. Either his parents just did not pay attention to his behavior or they just did not want to get involved. Either way, they own some responsibility along with this young man. Notice I said young man. He is not a child. He knows right from wrong. No sympathy for him or his family.

We live in times where bullies wield the power of the internet and social media to crucify their victims. I am not in any way defending what this child did but these things don't just happen. The shooting was a remedy to the pain inflicted on this child by his peers, an oblivious school administration and his parents. This sort of thing has happened enough times that it follows a recognizable pattern and there are obvious red flags. Every student in that school should have their social media reviewed and if they participated they bear some responsibility as well as the school and his parents. So many adults failed this child and his victims. Schools are not surrogate parents but are responsible every child's safety while in their charge. A lot of parents are disconnected from their adolescent children's lives. Schools are more likely to spot potential problems because they view their students through a different filter. It is hard to believe that throughout the chain of responsible adults that no one recognized the potential for such a tragic event to take place. Every school should have someone who's sole job it is to spot these things before the escalate. This means monitoring social media, connecting to the school's grapevine, developing a system of anonymous reporting and sharing information with the administration and faculty. This has become a problem that is not going to go away and it is necessary for schools to be pro active.

Meanwhile in Texas Timothy George Simpkins, 18, remains a mystery after grabbing a gun from his backpack and shooting 3 for being bullied. Out on bail next day because his grandma claims people picked on him cause he has nice things. How many other frustrated teens feeling demeaned will expect the same get out of jail free card Timothy got? Where are the parents? Oh that’s right Illiannna says we need more paid maternity leave so mothers can work more. America has too few mothers working compared to the world.

15 year old white boy, (evil, mentally ill, Satanist) murders four random classmates in a planned ritualistic rampage: and he is charged with Terrorism? 39 year old black man, (career violent criminal, supporter of political violence) hunts down and murders 6 white women and children and injured 40 in an attack on a public event directed at a specific group, motivated by an ideological agenda, intent to manipulate through terror. No terrorism charges. Maybe they will charge the SUV with Terrorism, but not Brooks.

You have to question where the picture of the probably-nine-year old boy with his hands clasped in prayer came from. Compare it with the recent mug shot of the fifteen-year-old boy who murdered his fellow high school students in suburban Detroit. Now we read about the young man's interest in satanism, and you have to concede that evil has a face. Some editor will be deciding whether to emphasize the bullying or the satanism. And how prevalent is satanism in our modern-day culture? And how much responsibility does Instagram have in this whole tragedy? Shouldn't they report these kinds of messages to the the authorities, delete them, and block any more from being published. Lots of questions.

#6, he's probably a "satanist" cult of one.
FYI, the "Destroyer of Worlds" quote is spoken by Krishna in the "Bhagavad Gita". It was used by Oppenheimer after his team perfected the atomic bomb, which is probably where Crumbley came across it. "Destroyer of Worlds" is also the title of at least two sci-fi/fantasy novels.

The article states "There was a rumour going around" and that some students "begged to stay home that day". Sounds like he pretty much telegraphed what he was going to do but nobody in authority listened or took him seriously.

He’s a demented little Soy Boy! His soul is certainly tormented by real demons! His parents have culpability for not noticing this little monster! Keep your children off social media! And check for them weekly!

#11 - My intent is definitely not to pooh pooh the subject of satanism. Fact is, it is alive and well in our culture and has been for some time. Heard Fr. Malachi Martin say decades ago that it is in our board rooms, universities, law firms, religions . . . all over. What I was suggesting is that it should be discussed and studied and prayed about, rather than pretending it does not exist.
Harry Potter books introduced way too many young children to witchcraft as well.

Half of the student population knew that this kid was a whackadoodle and he had intentions to do something like this. He should have been outed long before he had access to a gun. The parent who bought the gun and left it unlocked is an enabler who should be punished as well. The kid who did the shooting at Sandy Hook and the one in Florida were made of the same crazy cloth. Now we have to go through the same universal gun-control nonsense all over again.
Kids with healthy minds (and many adults) enjoyed the Harry Potter series as a brilliantly-written and entertaining, educational masterpiece without coming out of it wishing to murder someone. Don't blame the outside influences, blame the sick mind who murdered people. The fact that he shot two beautiful girls indicates that he is also sexually frustrated. Hollywood does far worse every day by glorifying the shooting of people being substituted for a good plot.

I blame three people for these murders -- the shooter, his father and his mother. This isn't the fault of video games, hollywood, Harry Potter, teachers or his classmates, the blame goes to Crumbly and his parents for providing the weapon and for raising a killer.

#16 - I'm old, so when I was a kid I devoured Grimm's and Andersen's Fairly Tales. Taught me a lot of good things and usually when i finished the story I felt good. I recall that good was always portrayed as good and there was no question about evil being evil - nothing vague about it. I believe that Harry Potter's stories sometimes do not have as clear a distinction, and young minds are not always mature enough to perceive subtle differences. But I am old, so ignore me.

To those who blame the parents for not getting the kid help, when those kids reach a certain age, the law says that the kid is on their own and they cannot help. We don't know if the parents tried or not. But thanks to the ACLU and Jimmy Carter destroying all the mechanisms for helping these troubled souls, we are seeing carnage on an unbelievable scale. Somebody really needs to ask the ACLU why they consider mentally ill people more dignified when they aren't being helped rather than when they are.
It is very popular to blame the parents. Maybe they are culpable in some form. But when these kids get into school and under the influence of teachers who hate them and want to indoctrinate, teachers should take a lot of the blame here as well. We had our eyes opened regarding the true nature of the classrooms during the lockdown, and we need to deal with this ASAP.

How much of this is real? How much is BS?
Still waiting for facts, and not trusting any media at this point.
If he was a satanist.....it shows why we should take that stuff seriously. But far from proven at this point.
Still taking a 'wait and see' after all the Enemedia lies that have been pumped in past cases.

When I buy a pistol, I get a trigger lock to make sure that nobody can take the gun and fire it. Call be a safety-nut, but it’s a good thing to do.

My very last comment on this, but I do not believe this young man is a satanist; though way too much interest in satanism which is why he did what he did. Satan wants to destroy us, and there is way too much nastiness going in our world and it depends upon our resources, I guess. I hope he can meet some good people to make him know that is not who he really is.

More clickbait from this USA Supreme site. Is the kid weird? Yeah, no doubt about that.
But other than their lurid headline, there's nothing showing he's part of some sort of "satanic cult."

The perpetrator never should have been allowed back into the high school the morning that he murdered those students, as the school administrators knew that he had posted on line that he intended to murder some of the other students. Apparently the school administrators never notified law enforcement of the perpetrator’s stated criminal intentions, but instead invited the perpetrator’s parents to bring the perpetrator to school for a parent teacher meeting. It was after that meeting that the perpetrator started shooting and murdered and wounded those students.

It happens too frequently to blame the criminals only, it must be wrong in the whole system, not generating those kids but making those kids bad. Job of the government but our duty to take care of each other, especially in mental health. The system I'm saying is not the government or the regime or something. Society, our communities, online, offline, many moral standards dropped, the more world develops, the more careless people are... We love n a world where Satanists probably consumed this young life and there are more of them n the town bu no one es dong anything about t! Probably because this isn't that political so the kids that died are not really important!
