A fourth-generation dairy farmer warned that climate change-related regulations and a slew of economic woes could signal the end for her family's way of life after nearly a century.
"We've been attacked in the dairy industry for a while now," Stephanie Nash told Fox News. "Instead of educating people through the farmer, we're educating them through people that have never farmed and we're killing off our family farmers."
Rising costs, labor and supply shortages and little support – in addition to climate change and conservation regulations – are all major obstacles threatening the Nash family, which has been in the dairy farming business for 92 years.

Unfortunately our government thinks that adding grilled crickets to our diet and sipping pond water is progress. Amazing how that Senate loss in Georgia has brought us to this point. A demented President, a loony toon House and a Senate tie breaker by the most unqualified VP in history. This farmer is not the only one scared.

Democrat dreams are government collectives to enforce dependency upon American citizens. They've got that Hunger Games mentality.

that "bat s hit crazy" Glenn Beck has been warning about this since before bidet took office. Beck is harshly criticized and demeaned but so much of what he warns strangely occurs.
Beck pays attention - when your enemy is telling you their intentions it is best to believe them.

Small dairy farms are doomed. They are inefficient and unable to generate the revenues necessary to gain efficiencies. My cousins went from an 80 cow milking herd many years ago to a twin dairy operation that now milks 1800 cows three times daily. He expanded by buying up all the small-timers who retired, most of whom were relatives themselves. A few work for his corporation.
Another cousin has a 75 head herd. She and husband need to work outside the farm to make ends meet. They won't last much longer as they get up in years and the "kids" are off to the big towns and cities to work - all have degrees, none in ag.

My g-grandfather started a business (circa 1887) to sell supplies to fishermen in SE Connecticut. Then his grandson and g-grandson each ran the business until about 10(?) years ago. There were so many government regulations and restrictions that many small fisherman went out of business.

This is by design, one of the largest farm owners in the US is now Bill Gates who has been buying up every parcel he can get his hands on, preparing for the great reset and the ushering in of the global corporatocracy.
He, the rest of his elitest ilk and their ignorant bought and paid for government lackeys are the ones responsible for the global warming farce and regulations than stem from it.
You control the peoples thoughts by controlling the message, and you control their behavior by controlling their food supply.

then the farming system would be just like the Soviet system of collective farms, made mandatory by Josef Stalin, which led to approx 25,000,000,000 of his own people starving to death.

Already driven out of California, now succeeding in Tennessee, but for how long? How long before this phony, lunatic, destructive "climate" fraud destroys every single modern technology and convenience that we need to live comfortably, eat well and be free?
The totalitarians are nibbling away at our freedoms, every year we are less free. Every year, we have fewer choices in what we want to drive, how we live and what we can eat.
The extreme leftists are literally destroying everything while false claiming that they are "saving the world".

Saving the planet is much more important than saving any stupid farms.
What good are farms anyway? We can get all the food we want in the supermarkets.

Pres. Trump swept away restrictive regulations and simplified business practices for farmers & small businesses thus enabling small businesses to thrive once again. Biden immediately reverted to more regulations, restrictions and demands against farms & small businesses, forcing many to give up. Trump knows how to enable small businesses to be productive, grow and make plans for the future but Biden knows only how to take away both profits and hope from entrepreneurs and instead grow BIG Government. ...Dem pols don't produce any products, -many never held a job or ran a business, yet we see how they are living VERY large inside the beltway, while dividing themselves from the taxpayers who actually work for their families and the country. The current beltway dem pols' socialistic policies are looting the working taxpayers, even as they demean the American people.

A farmer friend once explained modern agriculture this way. Grandpa lives upstairs and wants to help out but really can’t. Mom works in town and keeps the family fed. Dad farms full time and does odd jobs in town at night. Junior goes to college and has no interest in farming.
Kinda sad, isn’t it?

Climate change and conservation regulations, like all things from the left they are the opposite to the stated goals or have the opposite affect. I don't know much about farming but what I see its the big mega farms do not protect and conserve the land, instead they use it up to maximize short term profits. Its the family farmer that has a vested interest in conserving the land for the future generations.

Their goal is to rid the country of family farms. Then there will only be a few very large company farms which eventually the government wil easily regulate as if the government owned them. Their is the reason the government is moving people to electricity (cars, etc.) they can then regulate all energy usage. They will regulate your money through taxation policies. Regulaulate your food through large company farms and regulate your energy usage through a few large electric utilities. Then they control you.

Which is exactly what they want. Small, private businesses don't align with their goals of "equity" and wealth redistribution.
