On Saturday, Star Wars star Pedro Pascal jumped to his Twitter account to memorialize two of the men who threatened and attacked Illinois teenager Kyle Rittenhouse, insisting they were “murdered.” The day after Rittenhouse was acquitted of all charges brought against him by the state of Wisconsin, Pascal wrote that Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber were “murdered,” not killed in self-defense. “Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, and Anthony Huber, 27, murdered August 25th, 2020,” he said, posting a photo of the two men’s faces. “Rest In Peace.” Some fans were shocked that Pascal would be celebrating the lives of two convicted felons, one of who was a level-three sex offender and both

Absolutely no need for the elite Hollywood types in my life. Why these people think they have all the answers - amazing. Kyle was chased and threatened, read the transcript. Even the man who got his arm shot up said he aimed his gun at Kyle. Duh. These guys were there to cause chaos, they did cause chaos and paid the price. I do think that Kyle made a poor decision in going to the riot with a gun. But he had the right to be there and if he had not been carrying a gun they would have killed him. He had the right to defend himself. To speak highly of the two dead men says a lot about Pascal. We really are a divided nation.

One thing about Hollywood Fools (sorry to repeat myself) is that they never let the facts get in their way. (And I'm SURE that Pablo is also big Jesse Smollett fan.) Gun-Grabber nut-cakes hold up Rosenbaum and Huber as HEROES, and in Pascal's warped bubble-world they surely are. Maybe we should start calling him "Pedo-Man." Let's see how many movie-goers will go to movies with Pedo-Man in them.

My life evolves around the media. Growing up, it was a big thing, with stars you could redpect and characters you could admire. Nowadays, i dont watch TV, go to the movies, or watch proffessional sporting events. The spoiled brats of todays media have so turned me off, thst except for forums like Lucianne's, I just curl up with a good book. Usually an older one since most people can't manage homophones, these days. Its very distracting for a character to whale on his enemies, or wine about his life, or even talk about how they wished for a quite (instead of quiet) evening. If you're going to publish a book, you better have someone with pre-seventies educarions to proof read it.

'Ol pedro seems to be one of those people who do not understand the difference between "killed" and "murdered." Kyle did kill two leftist thugs who attacked him, but he did not murder them. They pursued and attacked him, and he had the right to defend himself. It's called justifiable homicide. The 6th Commandment is often mistranslated as Thou Shalt Not Kill, but is rightly given as Thou Shalt Not Murder. Only Rosenbaum, Huber, and Grosskreutz were attempting murder.

As a parent of a developmentally disabled child, I genuinely believe there is an important lesson here for other parents. No matter how dysfunctional your child is, there is some niche in which they can find excellence. Kudo's to this man's parents for helping him find his. This is what you should be doing for your child. And don't settle for the simplistic "athlete/bookworm" dichotomy on which the school system operates. That said, I already know that half the country is not very educated, informed or rational. Why is this news?

While the news has been inundated with Kyle Rittenhouse trial reactions and the mass murder that took place in Waukesha, Joe Biden’s agenda continues to languish. After Nancy Pelosi forced through the “Build Back Better” bill last week, the administration is no closer to seeing it come to fruition in the Senate. Multiple things were included in the House version that Joe Manchin has already said represent a redline, including climate provisions and federal funding for abortions. Now, Manchin is making noise about the current gas-price crisis, and in doing so, he looks to have stumbled upon a major piece of leverage.

Over the last few days, the mainstream media have expressed jubilation at Joe Biden’s decision to release oil from the strategic reserves. The largely symbolic, wholly temporary move was made to try to relieve gas prices as people gear up to travel for the holiday season. After months of the press insisting that Biden had no control over gas prices, they are now praising him for supposedly lowering gas prices. Except, it looks like that’s not actually going to happen, at least not at the level hoped. Per a new report, Russia and Saudi Arabia are gearing up to undercut Biden’s political ploy,

The 50 million barrels of oil that Joe Biden has ordered released from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve will largely go to China and India, according to Fox Business News. About 18 million barrels of that oil have been earmarked for sale by Congress. The other 32 million barrels will go to the American consumer. Since the oil in the Strategic Petroleum Reserve is what’s known as “sour” crude — oil with large levels of sulfur that makes it more expensive to refine — it’s far more attractive to foreign buyers like China because it’s relatively inexpensive compared to the “sweet” crude that’s easier to turn into gasoline at the refinery.
