Breaking. Vehicle Rams Christmas Parade
in Waukesha, WI, Creating a Mass Casualty Event

Original Article

The details are sketchy right now, but just minutes ago, someone plowed a vehicle through a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin, at a very high speed. They escaped leaving the street filled with victims. Here is the vehicle speeding down the road past one march unit. Here is the vehicle blasting through barriers and making its escape. It sounds like gunshots. Some people are claiming the driver was shooting, others that police were shooting at the car. To me, it looks like the cop in the safety vest at the left of the screen fires the shots. This is ground zero of the incident.

We need common sense vehicle control NOW!! No one needs high speed vehicles to live their daily lives!! Only the police and the military should have access to vehicles capable of high speed!! * sounds as stupid as a liberal talking about "guns!!"

From what I read the driver was intentionally running over people and then was able to get away. Lot of speculation going on being a predominantly White, conservative, Christian leaning community.

There are 36.10 miles from Waukesha to Kenosha in southeast direction and 52 miles by car, following the I-41 and I-94 E and US-41 route. Waukesha and Kenosha are 1 hour 3 mins far apart.

Perhaps it is not yet the time for this, but even in my small town, there are several police cars driving abreast at the end of the parade. It would be very difficult (obviously not impossible) to penetrate the parade route unless he did it from a side street. All that being said, my prayers and hope for those injured and those who are dealing with loss.

Re#14 I imagine that every parade going forward will have blocking vehicles fore and aft. I know that we all want to feel and be safe in public. But the truth of the matter is that providing security in all areas at all times is impossible in a constitutional republic that allows for freedom of movement, peaceful assembly, speech and association. Where the population, still, largely want to be left alone to go about their business. I'm not surprised that something like this has happened. I'm only surprised that something like this hasn't happened sooner. Either intentionally, accidentally or under the influence. After 9/11, I put some thought, not a lot, because a lot wasn't required, into what terrorists could do, with ease. I have a mental list of events that I'm surprised still hasn't happened.

New York — Stephen Sondheim, the songwriter who reshaped the American musical theater in the second half of the 20th century with his intelligent, intricately rhymed lyrics, his use of evocative melodies and his willingness to tackle unusual subjects, has died. He was 91. Sondheim’s death was announced by Rick Miramontez, president of DKC/O&M. Sondheim’s Texas-based attorney, Rick Pappas, told the New York Times the composer died Friday at his home in Roxbury, Connecticut. Sondheim influenced several generations of theater songwriters, particularly with such landmark musicals as “Company,” “Follies” and “Sweeney Todd,”

Democrats have long wanted the government to parent or co-parent your children, so it shouldn’t surprise anyone that President Joe Biden said the quiet part out loud Monday night. Is the administration upset that you might be spending too much time with your family? The statement is also rather vague. The “nearly 2 million” number, I assume, represents the 1.8 million-woman reduction in our labor force during the COVID-19 pandemic. But it’s untrue to claim this loss is only due to women leaving work to care for a family member. There are myriad reasons why the pandemic and government-induced shutdowns could have diminished the female workforce.

I reported earlier today on the announcement about the new COVID variant out of South Africa that immediately had some freaking out because it was supposedly “heavily mutated” and that the spike protein was “dramatically different.” That raised questions about whether immunity and the vaccines would be protective against it. There were also suggestions that it was “highly contagious among young people.” So, it seemed obvious they were gearing up to go crazy over this again. Then we reported on Dr. Anthony Fauci claiming they needed more time and information to decide on whether they needed to be talking about travel bans, that they wouldn’t be implementing a travel ban yet.

The World Health Organization (WHO) announced Friday that it would classify the new B.1.1.529 COVID-19 strain as a "variant of concern," and labeled it with the Greek letter "omicron." WHO made the announcement after an emergency meeting of its Technical Advisory Group on SARS-CoV-2 Virus Evolution. President Biden was briefed Friday on the new variant, the White House said. "The B.1.1.529 variant was first reported to WHO from South Africa on [Nov. 24, 2021]. The epidemiological situation in South Africa has been characterized by three distinct peaks in reported cases, the latest of which was predominantly the delta variant," the WHO explained. Omarova tried dancing around her earlier positions by claiming they were “academic” exercises, but Pat Toomey blew up that argument last week: So did Tim Scott, who spent his entire five minutes quoting from Omarova’s writings — not from a foolishly idealistic youth, but again as recent as this year: At the time, I wondered how long centrist Democrats would stand behind

Joe Biden has spent months pitching class warfare against the rich and in particular, against billionaires, incessantly demanding that they “pay their fair share” in taxes. This, despite the fact that the top 1 percent pay 40 percent of all the taxes and the top 10 percent pay about 71 percent of all the taxes. After preaching that division and making it harder on Americans to afford their Thanksgiving meal (not to mention most other expenses), Biden then trundled off to stay at private equity billionaire David Rubenstein’s compound for his Thanksgiving celebration on Nantucket. Throughout the summer of 2020, the United States was wracked by civil unrest, unlike anything we had witnessed since the mid-1960s when the anti-war movement and militant elements of the Civil Rights Movement created a perfect storm of riots bordering on outright insurrection on campuses and in city streets. The two periods have more than a superficial resemblance. In both cases, social unrest, based on real or imagined grievances, was translated into street protests. In both cases, a hyper-violent fringe element attempted to create havoc to draw law enforcement into open conflict with the demonstrators. When is a racial hate crime not a racial hate crime? When it doesn’t advance the left’s, and the Democrats’, narrative. When white teenager Kyle Rittenhouse shot three white men who were violently assaulting him, it somehow got treated by the press and politicians as a racial hate crime. President Joe Biden (falsely) called Rittenhouse a white supremacist, and the discussion of his case was so focused on racial issues that many Americans mistakenly thought that the three men Rittenhouse shot were black. But when a black man, Darrell Brooks, with a long history of posting hateful anti-white rhetoric on social media drove a car into

These guidelines do not instruct educators to teach critical race theory, but rather use critical race theory as a guide for the formation of teaching principles. Critical race theory is not being taught to students, but taught to teachers, who are then meant to use it to formulate their own practices.
