In Holland of all places. Who would have thought. But, then, look at Austria where the citizenry submits to the government's stay at home or be arrested mandate. To have the audacity to challenge authority in Europe? You must be kidding. This must be a result from WW2 where anybody who had the genes to challenge authority was either shot or starved to death.

Echoing #2's observation, I'm afraid that this sort of scenario will become all too common. People have been pushed to the limit. We've been patient. We've cooperated. We've followed orders/requirements that seem senseless, hoping the end is near and logic will return. These power-mad authoritarians are so crazed with their lust for dominating us, and are ramping up instead of lightening up. There's profound truth in the saying describing the-straw-that-broke-the-camel's-back. We of calm and civil demeanor have had enough.

I do not support violent protests, but on the other hand, trying to talk to or reason with authorities that are so full of themselves is a useless exercise.

The relationship between Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and their respective staffs has been on rocky ground for months. As RedState previously reported, the vice president and her camp have complained about being abandoned, even blaming racism as a possible factor, while the White House has fretted at Harris’ sheer incompetence and inability to garner support on her own. Those tensions have led to lots of speculation about what exactly happens in 2024. Harris is clearly a terrible candidate, something she showed during the 2020 presidential primary, but she’s also the heir apparent until Democrats forcibly remove her from that position.
