From George Zimmerman to Kyle Rittenhouse:
A Decade of Woke Misrule

Ten years ago this coming February, George Zimmermann shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin on a rainy night in Sanford, Florida. Without intending, Zimmerman triggered a dark new phase in the history of progressive America. Beginning with the Sacco and Vanzetti case in the 1920s, the left lied to conceal the guilt of the guilty. Yes, Virginia, those two bad boys were guilty. Upton Sinclair, who “proved” their innocence in his epic novel Boston, knew they were guilty. "My wife is absolutely certain that if I tell what I believe,” Sinclair confided to a friend, “I will be called a traitor to the movement and may not live

Comments:

The left never stops lying. I can't imagine how this will end.

There’s only one high profile prosecutor who has actually suffered consequences for his professional behavior that comes to mind, and that is that Nifong guy in the North Carolina Duke lacrosse case. For the most part a district attorney has the potential power of life and death over all us, if they so chose, without suffering any harmful repercussions. This needs to change. How, I don’t know, but it really needs to change.

That Florida prosecutor flagrantly suppressed evidence. A man in her own office turned her in for her law breaking. He got fired. So far she has not been punished in any way I have heard.

Jake Gardner of Omaha ran two successful bars in the Old Market area. The thug terrorist roamed the streets at will one night and singled him out for their cowardly attacks. After beating his 68 year old father to the ground Jake showed he was armed (legally). Didn't matter to the terrorist thugs. One filthy black thug pounced on Jake and put him in a chokehold. Mr. Garner pulled his legal gun and shot the terrorist black thug. City prosecutor examined the evidence and refused to charge Jake. Immediately the terrorist thugs exploded into the streets. Jake had no support from the cowards in the Omaha area. He shuttered his 10 year businesses and fled to a friend in Oregon. A leftist terrorist enabling white woman "judge" appointed a radical racist bigoted black thug prosecutor to persecute Jake. The racist thug persecutor made public statements that sealed Jakes fate. Sadly, after losing everything he had worked for Jake took his own life. Terrorism works in Amerika today.

The investigation of the manufactured plus sized retarded girlfriend that was supposed to be who Martin was on the phone with is something to view. I watched the entire uncovering of the hoax and the real person who was not presented at the trial of Zimmerman. That in itself was like the grainy video versus the highly enhanced video in the Rittenhouse trial. They cheat and get away with it.

yeah, Sacco and Vanzetti. I think the left were trying to copy the effect on France of the Dreyfus case. The point they missed is that the slanderers were themselves, and the bloodthirst was their own.

Rittenhouse is a hero suitable for the Navy Seals. The criminal thugs tried to stomp his face in, and at 17 years of age, he beat them all. The criminals got what they deserved. The criminals should never have been out of jail, and the cops should have been there to put a stop to their rioting. It is the state that failed. The prosecution is nothing but political lies.

I generally agree with the article, but not the discussion about the Sacco-Vanzetti case. There was a hurry to get the perpetrators of the murder and the press coverage was uniformly hostile towards them and overtly anti-Italian. Reputable scholars have generally concluded that Sacco was certainly guilty but the Vanzetti was probably not at the scene when the murder took place. The case should be a cautionary tale for conservatives, who are seeing even much worse tactics being used to frame Rittenhouse.

I googled the mentioned case of Sacco and Vanzetti, and given some of the violence the Italian anarchists were capable of back then, I can see where a jury would have convicted them. Used to be, decent society cleaned out this kind of violent riff raff from their environs, but now, the legal system is rigged to be more sympathetic to the violent thugs than it is to the victims or decent society. My outrage and disgust knows no bounds right now when it comes to this particular DA's office. They are rapidly destroying one of the best and most honest legal systems in the world, and not even breaking a sweat.

In a follow-up to my previous posting, I note here there at the trial, the evidence against Saccos was generally considered to be very strong but was weak against Vanzetti. Prior to the executions, Sacco was urged to confess, but exonerate his alleged partner, He. of course, refused to do so.

Heroes and Zeros: The Kyle Rittenhouse Verdict 12 replies

For 85 minutes on Friday, we held our breath as America’s-not-Sweetheart Kamala Harris was acting president while Joe Biden was anesthetized for a colonoscopy. Near in time, a 12-member panel of jurors in Kenosha, Wisconsin ignored threats shouted on the courtroom steps to find Kyle Rittenhouse not guilty of all the charges against him. The judge and defense counsel bravely labored on, ignoring the many death threats against them. Kyle was brave to defend himself during the riot and at the trial where the prosecution engaged in numerous unethical acts, not the least of which was charging him with crimes for which they lacked any reasonable scintilla of evidence.

For reasons that appear to be associated with her support for Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination, the school seems to have a vendetta against Professor Amy Chua. Chua was banned from teaching Yale Law’s important “small group” classes after being accused of, well, something. A deep-dive investigative report by The New York Times found no evidence that Chua had actually done anything wrong. In addition, the law school administration publicly shamed another student of color, who announced a Native American Law Students Association party

How many federal agencies do we pay for? I bet you think, as I once did, that a quick internet search would tell. But researching for an essay a couple of years ago, I found numbers varying from 78 to 158, and websites saying the exact number was impossible to determine. Looking at the USA.gov website recently, I discovered a tab for Federal Agencies A to Z (actually there are none past W). Scrolling around the list for two days, subtracting duplicate listings, like Useless Policy, Office of and Office of Useless Policy, I counted 456

Of particular concern to McCullough is the mRNA jabs’ ability to make the human body produce spike protein. “Everything we have learned about the spike protein since release of the vaccines is bad, 100% bad,” he lamented. “This spike protein—in itself—is pathogenic,” he continued. “This spike protein—in itself—is lethal to some through mechanisms which are now CORRECTION*

In medieval days, before there were secular dramas, there were roving bands of semi-professional actors performing morality plays. The plays were often short and sometimes even farcical. Plots were designed to encourage moral choices or illustrate Biblical stories. (Snip) Today, we have criminal trials as national entertainment. They usually take days and too often devolve into farce, as did the Kenosha trial of Kyle Rittenhouse, fumbled by the prosecutors (looking so much like Laurel and Hardy) trying the 17-year-old hero for shooting two felons to death and wounding a third man during a days’ long riot, arson and looting.

No, the Democrats—aka “The Party of Science”—did not flunk high school biology. Between grade inflation and “woke” stupidity, nobody flunks much of anything in high school these days. But there is another explanation why they—and even the vaunted Dr. Anthony Fauci—act as if natural immunity is not the best immunity against COVID-19 as it is against so many other illnesses, including childhood ones. In case you did miss high school biology and have been living under an Everest-size pile of rocks, natural immunity is what you have via antibodies after an illness ends that prevents you from getting that illness again.

As they learn more about social and emotional learning (SEL) with its data-mining, parents are in an uproar. They're demanding an opt-out and deletion of all stored data. Some believe that if we can stop the leftward lurch of America, we can "turn our schools around" and use SEL as it was "initially intended." But was the initial purpose of SEL really to teach appropriate social behavior and support "mental wellness" and "management of emotions," or is there a sinister underside?

The relationship between Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and their respective staffs has been on rocky ground for months. As RedState previously reported, the vice president and her camp have complained about being abandoned, even blaming racism as a possible factor, while the White House has fretted at Harris’ sheer incompetence and inability to garner support on her own. Those tensions have led to lots of speculation about what exactly happens in 2024. Harris is clearly a terrible candidate, something she showed during the 2020 presidential primary, but she’s also the heir apparent until Democrats forcibly remove her from that position.
