With the cold weather pushing some Minnesotans indoors, and with Thanksgiving less than two weeks away, Guy Zorobi is pretty busy these days. He helps run ‘La Communaute Ivoire de Minnesota’ — or ‘Ivory Community of Minnesota' — an advocacy group for Minnesotans with connections to Ivory Coast. “The pandemic has been devastating for a lot of people,” he says. “Especially for the immigrant community.” (snip) Zorobi is hoping to connect with the immigrant community, especially people with connections to Ivory Coast — which he estimates at about 1000 across Minnesota.

Nothing is more quintessentially American than importing the world's poor and placing them on the backs of the US taxpayers, who are thrilled to pay for it all while seeing their own standard of living plummet alongside a transformation into a third world nation of peasants ruled by a small handful international oligarchs.

Somalis, go ahead say it, they are Somalis. I liked it better when they were all pirates and it was legal to shoot them or whatever else you could get away with out there on the water. Now they are enjoying a better and safer form of piracy, approved by the US Government.

My late husband instituted an adult reentry programme at his high school. He said the Somalis were the worst and least likely to assimilate. The brother would come to the meeting and speak for his sister, not allowing her to talk. My husband would insist that she speak for herself and she would. God only knows what happened to these girls when they got home. Again, it is not colour, it is culture.

California is set to adopt new math teaching principles that are based in critical race theory. These changes, which include deemphasizing calculus and pulling programs for academically gifted students, will "apply social justice principles to math lessons." These guidelines do not instruct educators to teach critical race theory, but rather use critical race theory as a guide for the formation of teaching principles. Critical race theory is not being taught to students, but taught to teachers, who are then meant to use it to formulate their own practices.
