We’re not big fans of economist Larry Summers, but in this case, he should be in line for a Nobel Prize for predicting exactly what is happening with inflation today … and who is to blame for it. On Wednesday, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that inflation climbed at an annual rate of 6.2%, the biggest such jump in three decades. And that’s despite repeated predictions from other “experts” that the spike in prices earlier this year was “transitory.” Even now, they are flummoxed. It doesn't take an economist to predict what Xiden was going to do, and how it would tank the economy. He's being advised by some of the biggest Keynesian scum in the country, who only have one trick in the bag: Print to the moon.

FTA: "What’s more, vast amounts of money for the previous two COVID stimulus bills under President Donald Trump still hadn’t been spent." No? Those two Trump "stimulus" checks most received just sat in a desk drawer unspent. Biden's money just whipped through the system while Trump's sat? Sure. This inflation is no less a product of $5 TRILLION passed and signed during the Trump era as $1.9 TRILLION by Biden. Let's stop kidding ourselves thinking one doesn't build on the other...dropping money from helicopters is never a bright idea if an economist. As a politician, it's manna from heaven for the boobs. Remember how the housing market worked after it was overheated by the Federal government...of course, Dubya had nothing to do with that.

Summers just said what most people already knew. Biggest surprise is he's not covering for Biden or blaming Trump. The people that are surprised by this were covering for Biden or economic illiterates. Next they will blame Trump. They said it was transitory because they blamed COVID. Two problems with that. First, its not COVID itself but the government's response to COVID. Second, after dealing with COVID for 20 months, how much progress has the medical industry made against CIVID? Not much We should be wrapping up COVID by now, but we cannot due to all the hysteria and politics. This is all on FJB and the pharmaceuticals.

#1 is on it. Inflation was predicted by normal people as soon as the second round of stimulus checks hit the banks. That also started the growth of the huge population of unemployed who predictably would rather sit home and play video games than work. When all this comes around to bite them, prices will be sky high and all available unskilled jobs will have been snatched up by illegals - who will suddenly not be required to have a green card to work, just a mustache.

A new memo shows that Attorney General Merrick Garland lied to Congress about the FBI snooping on parent groups upset with local school boards for their use of Critical Race Theory in the classroom. If so, it doesn’t warrant a slap on the hand, but swift removal from office. Presidents deserve to have the people they nominate serve their entire term. But that’s not the case when that person lies under oath to Congress and, by extension, the American people. That’s a criminal offense. This allegation comes from an official letter sent to the Justice Department by Rep. Jim Jordan,

His crumbling public approval rating must be troubling to President Joe Biden. But can it possibly compare to learning that the liberal mainstream media is turning on him as well? On Tuesday, the New York Times sent an email to its morning update subscribers with the headline: “Who’s to blame for inflation?” “It is dragging down President Biden’s approval ratings and fueling discontent among Americans,” writes senior economics correspondent Neil Irwin. “How did we get here? Who is to blame?” We fully expected the Times to make excuses for Biden. And at first, it looks as though that is what

One of the primary constitutional duties of an American president is to be commander in chief of U.S. military forces. Yet, after just 10 months of President Joe Biden, Americans lack confidence that our 79-year-old commander in chief is up to the challenge of leading the U.S. in the event of a military threat. The response is sure to worry Democrats, given the beleaguered Biden administration’s recent sharp decline in favorability. Overall, among those responding, a plurality of 48% said they were “not confident” that Biden would be effective as commander in chief during a military emergency, while 45% said they were confident.

A poll taken earlier this month shows that voters believe job No. 1 for President Joe Biden is to vacate his office. His replacement, of course, would be the vice president whose approval rating is so low it hardly registers. Take a bow, voters. This is the mess that America has become. When 1,000 voters were asked what is “the single most important goal for Biden over the next year,” the top answer at 20% was “resign/retire/quit.” That answer was almost twice as popular as the No. 2 response, “economy/jobs,” which logged in at 11%. These are the unsurprising-to-many findings of a Suffolk University-USA Today poll

But other I&I/TIPP data from our same November poll show Biden’s problems with how average Americans perceive him and his leadership go far deeper. President Joe Biden says he’s been addressing supply chain problems “since Day One,” but that’s consisted mainly of appointing task forces and holding summits. His latest bold “action” was to beg G-20 leaders to “help address global supply chain issues.” The one concrete step Biden has taken was, he said, to get the Los Angeles ports to stay open 24/7, which he announced on Oct. 13. Biden said this has the “potential to be a gamechanger.” A White House fact sheet declared that it “will speed up shipments of goods throughout the country.” Except, that’s not what’s happened. In fact, things have gotten worse at those ports, not better, since Biden’s “game changer.”

By any reasonable measure, Tuesday’s off-year elections around the country were a sweeping repudiation of the Democratic Party, as the defeat of Virginia’s Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe by virtually unknown Republican Glenn Youngkin shows. The donkey party’s extreme-left vision for America has suffered what could be a fatal blow, but only if the GOP is smart enough to take advantage of this great opportunity. A quick look around the country on Wednesday morning led to an inescapable conclusion: Average Americans are fed up with the Democrats’ woke agenda and are eager to escape it.
