Many experts contend that the current inflation is not “transitory” as Biden asserts and have severe doubts about his claim that the Build Back Better agenda will alleviate inflation. The consumer price index rose an astonishing 6.2% year over year in October, according to the Labor Department. And we all know, #1, that Build Back Bolshevik injects so much clownbux into the economy that inflation will go through the roof. Too many dollars chasing too few goods and services. We need to STOP pouring money into the economy and pull back, but Keynesians are always about debt spending and currency debasement.

A federal appeals court panel on Thursday afternoon granted a request by former President Donald Trump to stay a lower court judge's ruling requiring the National Archives to hand over documents to the House Jan. 6th committee. The stay is intended to give the court time to consider Trump´s arguments against release of the documents, which was otherwise scheduled for Friday without a court order. But the temporary stay has a short fuse: the appeals court set arguments in the case for Nov. 30. A three-judge panel issued the administration injunction. It said it did so 'to protect the court’s jurisdiction' to address Trump's claim of executive privilege,

As Vermont reports higher than ever COVID-19 case rates, state health officials have been trying to understand why. How can a state that did so well during the first part of the pandemic — even garnering national recognition — be doing so much worse now? "There is not one simple answer," said Vermont Health Commissioner Dr. Mark Levine during a news conference Tuesday. "But, there are clearly factors that have come together to create the situation that we're in now." Slowing the spread is critical right now to prevent Vermont's hospitals from being overwhelmed with people sick with the virus, Levine said.
