White House deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre confirmed the administration is considering shutting down a Michigan oil pipeline, as President Biden finds himself caught between an environmental promise and looming gas price hikes. The administration is exploring the possibility of terminating the Line 5 pipeline - which links Superior, Wisconsin, with Sarnia, Ontario - and gathering data to determine if shutting down the line will cause a surge in fuel pricing.'Yes, we are,' Jean-Pierre said, asked in a news briefing if the administration is 'studying' the impacts of a potential shutdown. 'The army corps of engineers is preparing an environmental impact

So years and years after Jennifer Granholm pillaged the Michigan economy, her department is still "sticking" it to Michigan residents.

Biden is going to overrun private property and contract laws to illegally close a pipeline.

It used to be that if you wanted to kill an idea, you assigned it to a study group; studying would last for ages and ultimately go nowhere. Hopefully that will be the case here.

Dementia side, sometimes stupidity reaches such levels that you can only attribute it to purposefulness!

It's a non-stop assault on the American people, the hatred Obama and his cabal have for us is unreal.

This winter is going to be ugly. Gasoline and food prices, the supply chain. Not good. How low will Biden's approval ratings go? My guess is they don't go any lower than they are; call it 38%. Because if someone isn't convinced already that Biden is a disaster, they'll never be convinced.

They are studying it but definitely not considering it. What? Follow up question that should have been asked, If you aren't considering it then isn't studying it a complete waste of taxpayer money?

I got my most recent "Road & Track" magazine yesterday. I started to peruse it, to see the latest in ordinary and fantastic cars, as I have every month since 1968. I quickly soured on the electric car propaganda that has steadily overtaken the pages of this once great magazine.
One article which perported to discuss the mechanical advances in modern V6 engines, started with "in the dying days of the combustion engine....."
Right there I tossed down the gloss, upmarketed magazine (recently moved to a much more expensive, fancy production from the more ordinary magazine that it was for the previous 60 years) and vowed to contact them to cancel my subscription of 53 year because I just can't gag down the propagada on electric cars and climate change any more.
This is just like my cancellation of my subscription to National Geographic, which started about 1961 with my love of the space program. By somewhere around 2005 they had gone so far over to the dark side that the newly hired editor put out his "introduction to the new editor" piece about how now the magazine would be dedicated to the 'global warming problem' and making sure that this was a key part of all future articles.
I wrote them a postcard cancelling what was then probably a 40+ year subscription.
Bit by bit, the propagandists buy out the news media and convert it from news and information to political propaganda....ALL OF THEM.

#10 - I subscribed to "Popular Mechanics" for my DH (and me as well). I won't be renewing. It too has become a shill for various leftist causes. I get enough of that crap from TV without paying extra for it.

For those that do not know...Karine Jean-Pierre is the former Senior advisor/National spokeperson for "Move On dot org", also was chief of staff for Kamala presidential campaign, previously she was SE director for John Edwards presidential run in '08, and director for "battleground states" in Obama's second campaign, and then(former Baltimore Mayor/Maryland Gov) O'malley's presidential campaign ...AND is married to CNN's Susanne Malveaux.
Jean-Pierre wrote a book (because Of COURSE she did), "Moving Forward", was published in 2019. It is described as "part memoir, part call to arms,".

So in the dead of winter they are going to shut down a way for people to heat their homes. How many elderly people will freeze to death. Oh wait that's what they want. No other explanation makes sense. People already are going to be paying triple for heating. This administration is EVIL.

The pipeline has been there for years and NOW they want an impact study. The same old excuse for shutting down our economy (energy) so they will further control our 'petty little lives'

Yet another case of:
"No we are not doing that. Stop spreading lies!"
"All things are on the table."
"We did it for your own good."
