Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla on Tuesday said people who deliberately spread false information about COVID-19 vaccines, often through sophisticated web operations, are “criminals.” "They’re not bad people, they’re criminals, because they have literally cost millions of lives,” he said during a conversation with The Atlantic Council, a think tank specializing in international affairs.(Snip)Dr. Murthy’s guidance said some people spread false information for profit, while others simply feel like they found new information that others don’t know. His guidance tries to help people identify bad information, holding up examples that included distorted bar charts about vaccine uptake or outdated photos to make a point about masks.

He is more worried that they will get into his pocket than in saving lives.

“But there is a very small part of professionals who circulate on purpose misinformation so that they will mislead those that have concerns. Those people are criminals.”

If the deniers are the criminals,
Why does the company have immunity?

I think the people who would agree with him would also believe that a company that makes a profit off of critical drugs would be a criminal enterprise. And that an executive who makes more than a couple of hundred thousand dollars per year is a criminal.

For perspective, in over 25 years' worth of experience with common flu vaccines, there have been fewer than 1,700 deaths reported in VAERS.

Is it misinformation to say his "vaccine" is not an actual vaccine like people receive for polio, smallpox and others?
After all, people don't worry about the polio vaccine deteriorating, or getting polio from someone who has the vaccine too, right?
It's more akin to the flu shot, in that it won't prevent you from getting the flu, but should reduce the flu's impact and allow you to return to work quicker.
Remember, people see and hear all sorts of information. Many have friends and relatives who work in the medical field too. Many know people in other countries who are doing things differently. Many will also question why so many are resisting getting the shots, particularly in the medical and first-responder fields wondering "what do they know that I don't"
Once everyone starts to be open, honest and forthright about what's happening, it likely will receive better buy-in.

Why does the Pfizer CEO consider information that disagrees with what he says about his company's vaccine are criminal lies and disinformation for profit and financial gain? Could it be that he is concerned about Pfizer's profit and continued financial gain? Just because he disagrees with the information does not mean that they are wrong or that it is disinformation. It is just information that Pfizer does not put in their drug company literature or Fauci and his cohorts leave out of their push for the vaccines. Not everyone has to agree. The vaccine can be both good (at slowing the virus) but still give people serious concerns about getting the vaccine given all of the current evidence showing that there are some issues with it. People who refuse the vaccine or point out problems with it are not criminals and should not be treated such. In the past, they were treated as heroes for pointing this kind of stuff out.

I wonder how much money Mr Bourla has made from all this. Must be handy if you want to buy extra holiday houses by the sea.

Background to OP comment. He says misinformation might cause people to delay using his life-saving vaccine, but was the life-saving vaccine delayed to coincide with him making more money (and until after the presidential election?) Sure smells that way. "Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla filed to sell millions of dollars of his company's stock Monday—the day the pharmaceutical giant announced positive data about its coronavirus vaccine.
The company's shares soared after Pfizer and European drug company BioNTech said early data suggests the vaccine could be more than 90% effective.
The transaction was part of a regularly scheduled plan set up by Bourla to periodically sell some of his Pfizer shares.
"When asked if Pfizer and Bourla thought to cancel the stock sale due to the perception that Bourla might be cashing in on good news, the spokeswoman said that "these are predetermined plans managed through a third-party stock administrator.""

Remember when the CEO of Pfizer wanted to go to Israel but they would not admit him? Seems the hypocrite hadn't taken any of the jabs himself. So Israel denied him entry. Muah ha ha.
