Former President Donald Trump, in an exclusive interview with Fox News, said he will "probably" wait until after the 2022 midterm elections to formally announce whether he will run for president in 2024. "I am certainly thinking about it and we’ll see," Trump said. "I think a lot of people will be very happy, frankly, with the decision, and probably will announce that after the midterms." The former president said that timeline was "probably appropriate.""It doesn’t mean I will," Trump said of whether he will stick to that timeline. "It’s probably appropriate, but a lot of people are waiting for that decision to be made.

One side of me says he should run. The country needs him. The other says, it is a personal risk that is not fair to ask of him. This time the Deep Staters are fully exposed. They have nothing to lose. A ticket of DeSantis/Don Jr. with Trump Sr. as Speaker of the House looks promising.

I loved the Trump administration and would love nothing more than to see him vindicated. However, Trump will turn out democrats to vote against him like Hillary turns out Republicans to vote against her. While the revenge would be sweet, I'm not sure that 4 more years if mass liberal psychosis is worth it. What I prefer, at this time is a candidate that embraces Trump's policies while being less Trumpy. We need someone that can right the ship and defuse the coming civil war. Biden won't be the nominee, assuming he hasn't already assumed room temperature. If the democrats actually nominate a competent candidate, a Trump win gets dicey. That's my opinion......subject to change.

I’m torn. Daily I lament the state of this country knowing that had Trump not been robbed we would be in a very good space. This past year has also caused me to reflect on Trump’s good and bad traits. His goals for the country are great. His policies are excellent. Best of all he fights. On the minus side he is not a great communicator. Inspiring yes, crystal clear not so much. He seems to have a problem with following up. He wastes time and good will on addressing every slight. Finally, in my heart of hearts, it’s long overdue for the baby boomers, and the even the more elderly, to gracefully leave the top elected political offices.

Thanks to President Trump for the job he did. But, I don't want to have another four years of 24-7 hate from media and their minions. DeSantis can do it without all the vitriol.

In my view, Trump showed the way but his personality flaws were fatal to his ability to survive politically. A new leader, with Trump's policies, but without his baggage, is needed. So far, DeSantis appears to be the right combination of great positives and minimal negatives. Time will tell.

Can not believe the comments here. Have we not learned ANYTHING from past republican races???? ANY republican that runs will get the very same anal exam . The question then becomes who can survive it. In my 70 plus years only one person had the strength, character and brutal force to withstand the onslaught. Donald John Trump. His " negatives" were leftist democart lies and smears. He has my full and complete support.

Trump has to win the nomination, and I vote for who I believe is the best candidate. If Trump is the best candidate, I'll vote for him in the primaries. If he wins the nomination, I will enthusiastically support him in the general election. I am perfectly happy to consider other candidates. If you want my vote. Convince me that your the best candidate. Convince me that you will do a better job than Trump.

I’ve been telling everyone I know that Joe Biden is the dumbest chief executive to ever occupy the office. I thought that was obvious, but I’ve gotten an amazing amount of pushback from other writers, friends, and even complete strangers. It seems that there’s a widely held opinion by many, that everything Joe has done to America has been by design. Joe’s performance has been quite competent if you look at it from his perspective. He’s a mastermind transforming America into the left’s vision of a socialist utopia.

The gas price crisis in the United States continues to spiral out of control. Those in the South have seen their gas prices double to over $3.00 a gallon over the last several months, but they have it easy compared to places like California, where one station was recently charging over $7.00 a gallon. That’s enough to make Europe blush.Of course, every bit of this was self-inflicted on the nation, not by consumers, but by the Biden administration pandering to far-left delusions about climate change completely destroying the planet. So what’s the solution? Is it to drill more domestically? To greenlight Keystone XL and other pipelines?

President Biden says he’ll be in attendance “with bells on.”  CORRECTION*

What do the theories of Friedrich Hayek have to do with our current supply crisis, with container ships piling up on the coast of California? Well, let’s see. Hayek, an Austrian economist, is best known for his book, The Road to Serfdom, in which he expresses his deep concern about the spread of socialism and the resultant threat to economic independence and freedom in general. It is the work of Hayek, after he took a position at the University of Chicago, that sparked the movement known as the “Chicago school” of economics. This really isn’t a “new” story because it’s been going on for quite a while now, though you wouldn’t know it based on the paucity of mainstream media coverage it receives. The subject is Walgreens and the chain of drug stores they operate in California. The huge pharmacy chain has been slowly shutting down its stores across the state, most commonly in the San Francisco area. The reason for the closures isn’t a lack of business. It’s a popular outlet that still draws plenty of customers.
