On August 25, 2020, 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse, armed with an AR-15 and a medical kit, went to Kenosha, Wisconsin to offer first aid and protect businesses against looting and arson. (snip) The trial started this week, and it's been sufficiently fascinating, thanks to mismanaged evidence (including FBI wrongdoing) and an incompetent prosecutor, to merit a short review. (snip) the prosecution's insistent questioning regarding the circumstances of Rosenbaum's death revealed that Kyle was an amiable young man who avoided confrontations and was actively trying to help people; that Rosenbaum threatened to kill him
The judge seems and acts fair minded... I'm rather surprised. The prosecution is doing a great job! (For Kyle).

After reviewing the various videos shortly after the action occurred; my conclusion is there shouldn't even be a case. The young man should have received commendation for the restraint he showed.
This is a bogus, politically motivated persecution and shows those who will pull their heads out of their nether-regions exactly what we're dealing with in the way of demo-commies. They mean to rule us, and they'll kill however many of us they think they need to, to get us to submit to them. This war is for all the marbles, liberty-wise. If you don't grasp that simple fact because they aren't acting as hollywood has indoctrinated you to think commies act, then you are still in the dark.

If the judge truly is competent and fair he will dismiss the jury and rule from the bench that Rittenhouse is innocent of all charges (stupidity is not supposed to be a crime) and dismiss the charges with prejudice so that the DA cannot re-open the case.

I watched much of yesterday and thought the fellow asking questions was from the defense...it was the DA! One thought is he realy has little to work with. The other is that he's "throwing" the case knowing the self-defense defense is fair to apply, but the "public" demands "justice". The judge issuing a decision from the bench is not going to happen. This will go to the jury. I'm curious to see the defense case... Richard McGinnis was a reporter, highly believable, and essentially shredded the prosecutor's case with his eyewitness testimony in the case of Rosenbaum's shooting. He also destroyed the prosecutor's charge of "endangerment"...he was the one "endangered" testifying he dodged out of the line of potential fire and did not feel in particular danger.

The last line in the article "...get on with his life." is probably not in the cards, whether he's acquitted or not. You want proof, look and George Zimmerman. The left, being the Nazi horrors that they are, control the media and, thereby, the court of public opinion. That court found him guilty within a millisecond of it going public. Kyle will have to change his name, move to another state, and get plastic surgery to "...get on with his life."

Just as the Russia dossier this incident has served the purpose of indoctrination the masses with the intended meme and people will immediately recall the cause but not the eventual outcome. The dim's and anti 2nd proponents' compliant media screamed about the incident but will quietly report their results.

I have a friend who is a very successful trial lawyer. He was shocked that the prosecutor's questions to his own witness resulted in replies that blew up in his face. He said you never ask a question to a witness unless you know what their response will be.

I'm beginning to think that #4's second scenario, that the prosecutor is conducting theater to introduce evidence to clear Kyle, is the real story.

I am hoping the defense goes scorched earth on this persecutor Binger. This guy is so dirty, he makes Ronnie Earle look squeaky clean. Remember persecutor Earle going after Tom DeLay? I do. That guy set the bar for all the dirty persecutions to follow. I cannot call them prosecutions, because even the most ignorant of citizens regarding the law can see where they people are lying through their teeth. Now we find out about the detectives as well.

The prosecutor's first mistake was bringing this case to trial to begin with and deserves all of the embarrassment that comes with attempting to ruin the life of the defendant.

The evidence at the time was pretty clear. One of the most powerful pieces of evidence is an interview of Mr. Rittenhouse an hour or two before the confrontations. He was asked wnat he was doing there, and his prominent hip bag was pointed to, and he said something like "I brought my first aid kit to help anyone who gets injured." Asked about the rifle, slung over his shoulder, he said something like "That's in case I need self protection"
And it is absolutely clear on video that he was violently attacked with the skateboard and that the last guy was pointing a handgun at him, clearly preparing to shoot him when Mr. Rittenhouse shot him....in the arm, further evidence that, given a chance he didn't want to inflict any more harm than necessary.
I really hope that he gets off of all charges. And of course, once again, the FBI comes down on the side of corruption and crooked twisting of evidence.

Sorry folks, 2 amendment and all, the kid took a lethal weapon to what was obviously a violent protest. As a result people died. That's at least MS2. Kyle's lucky I'm not on the jury.

I've seen video of Rosenbaum at different demonstrations. The guy was a deranged animal. Rosenbaum's cell phone history would be crucial, you would think. Probably has Obama on speed dial.

Canadians never understand the concept of armed self defense, even after they move here.

Is it possible that the prosecution is intentionally throwing this case, because they know that its a steaming pile of Schumer Schaffer? And that the only reason that chargers were brought was that it was forced due to politics?
Only a graduate cum laude from Boston University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in both international relations and economics could be this stupid.

He very well may be found not guilty using a self defense argument. Where he is going to get it is his crossing state lines to put himself in the middle of what became a violent protest. The Supreme Court had a few things to say about the Hatfields and McCoys sending bounty hunters across state lines to either kidnap or kill one another.

Kyle Rittenhouse, the patriot, will be punished as an example to Americans who would stand up to tyranny.

I've watched most of the trial and agree, as I wrote yesterday, that the prosecution is building a strong case for acquittal. Kyle effectively ended the rioting in Kenosha, a place he considers home. He was not an outsider as so many of the rioters were. He did not bring the gun across state lines, either. He did use deception to get the gun, but that is a far cry from homicide. He's basically a red-blooded good-hearted American boy.
