Pfizer says its 'extraordinary' new COVID
pill cuts risk of hospitalization and
death by almost 90% among high risk adults

Pfizer Inc announced on Friday that its experimental pill to treat COVID-19 can cut rates of hospitalization and death by nearly 90 percent. The New York-based pharmaceutical company said it is no longer taking new patients in a clinical trial of the drug 'due to the overwhelming efficacy' and plans to submit data to U.S. regulators soon. 'We were hoping that we had something extraordinary, but it's rare that you see great drugs come through with almost 90 percent efficacy and 100 percent protection for death,' Dr Mikael Dolsten, Pfizer's chief scientific officer, said in an interview. This is the second pill to prove effective at treating the disease

Comments:

This is likely Pfizer's knockoff of the dangerous house dewormer ivermectin, far superior because it's under patent and thus can be sold at an enormous markup. Does this mean the forced voluntary vaccinations are no longer necessary? US taxpayers have already purchased millions of doses of this drug, according to pResident Puppet.

This reminds me of the "same old garbage in a new package" commercials. Not buying these claims. The VAERS reporting, FDA advisory panel extreme conflict of interest, and rapidly lowering efficacy rates from previously submitted "vaccines" (despite whatever today's CDC definition is) have said everything there is about the lack of credibility of any Pfizer statement.

So, will this be targeted for those who aren't vaccinated but end up with COVID, so long as they're diagnosed within the 3 days as mentioned by Pfizer? Or, is this for anyone who ends up with COVID, even if vaccinated (which should have prevented but does not seem to have the efficacy of other vaccines). And, if this is very similar to what's already available, it will truly illustrate how mis-managed this whole issue has been from the beginning, and designed to provide Big Pharma massive profits they never would have enjoyed otherwise. I predict this "new" pill will end up backfiring on a lot of people.

I have a potent, cheap, generic protease inhibitor in stock, and it will be one of my primary choices if I get the Chicom virus. I got the recommendation for this from my Ukrainian research scientist friend in March of last year. And quercetin is an available, albeit less potent, and sometimes less well tolerated one. Glad to see how effective it is, this was my expectation based on years of Ukrainian research papers, and directly discussing it with the scientists.

The lucrative $50,000-per-year journalist tax break that Democrats have tucked within President Biden’s multitrillion-dollar social welfare bill is estimated to cost taxpayers more than $1.6 billion over the next decade. A new analysis of the legislation by the Joint Committee on Taxation, a special congressional panel made up of 10 senior lawmakers from both chambers of Congress, found that taxpayers would be on the hook for more than $1.6 billion if the tax credit becomes law. The credit would allow “local news” outlets to receive a quarterly tax credit, “equal to 50%” of a journalist’s wages up to a cap of $12,500-per-quarter.

Six Democrats, part of the progressive 'Squad' wing of the party, voted against it.
