The Mankato, Minnesota school board is outrageously requiring parents to doxx themselves by stating their home address before they can speak at a meeting and they have, in essence, banned all criticism of school board officials as well. The chair of the board for Mankato Area Public Schools Jodi Sapp made the new rules crystal clear before calling on parents at an Oct. 18 forum. Parents were told they could speak for three minutes only if they gave their name and full address. They were also advised that they were prohibited from addressing individual school board members.“I just want to remind everybody this is a business meeting of the school board,

While it's customary practice in public meetings of government agencies (such as City Council meetings) for a citizen speaker to state their CITY of residence, it is unbelievably unwise and potentially dangerous to require the street address these days...and probably why this was demanded, as intimidation and threat. Many jurisdictions in fact already have laws to forbid disclosure of personal contact information from government databases that are made public for this very reason.

I guess it makes it easier for the secret police (FBI, etc.) to surveil people if they have to give their address first.

Didn’t Minnesota used to be a nice state? Kind of like Vermont in ways. What happened?

One strategy to counter this Marxist doxxing intimidation would be to do some research beforehand, and give your name and the "inquisitors" home address. Doxx THEM! "Right back at 'ya."

Well #5. Minnesota and Vermont have been socialists strongholds for years. Bernie Sanders is from Vermont and he's a avowed Socialist, It's also home to Ben and Jerry's the two wack jobs hippies that make ice cream. Minnesota people elected Omar from Somalia. The Muslim POS that married her bother in order to get into the country, and is as close to a Muslim terrorist without actually flying planes into buildings.

The government already knows the specific addresses of protesting parents. They are ALL under surveillance. The school board wants their addresses as a cover up for this all intrusive, evil regime.
Plausible deniability for when the intimidation begins. The regime will shift the blame to the school board. This regime is willing to throw even those aligned with their wicked agenda under the bus. Even Hitler eventually threw the "brown shirts" under the bus.

the soros bought and paid school boards is one of the major problems in the USA right now. It time we expose soros bought and paid agents and make sure we have REAL parents controlling the school boards. It's time for parents to do their due diligence in the local school districts.

Welcome to North Korea. This is what illiterate communist democrats have brought to our country. For every democrat who voted for Biden, thank you, this is what you voted for. And, make sure that after you give your address so you can speak, you click your heels and salute your imperial dictator. Get it yet.

The dem unions have a history of harassing their political opponents at their homes, invading their private property and disturbing the peace of neighborhoods! So stating their address before speaking is obviously a thug tactic to intimidate free speech of parents. The dem pols do not want their socialist tyranny impedded, but the First Amendment is not on their side!

Just tell the Stasi school board members you will be happy to comply if they do the same. I’m finding it hard to believe this is happening in the USA.

The school boards are elected, and can be fired by not re=electing them.
This is easily fixed, provided that the community, on the average, doesn't WANT these thugs in charge of the racist brainwashing centers.

Nice little home you have there. Be a shame if something happened to it, like a fire bomb while you are sleeping.
I like #6's idea.

Give a fake house number, pretty easy to do. If you live in 1521.....say 1732..or 2159...same street. Especially nice if 1732 is nonexistent, as is the case in most of suburbia, where houses are often jumping two or three numbers or more between adjacent homes on the same street.

I would get the address of the leader and read that when asked for mine! Oh…I’m truly sorry miss, that is YOUR address, right? Let me repeat that to make sure of my mistake! Yelling and strokes for all liberal leaders!

Turn it back on these dictators. Get the addresses of these nazis and give your name and the address of a school board member.
"That's not your address!"
"Is too!"
Its not!
It is!
"How do you know its not?
Because its mine!
Oops

Simple way to stop this nonsense. Give out the addresses of the school board members when it's your time to speak.
