Parents Say Public School Tied Mask On
Their Nonverbal Special-Needs Child With Rope

Sofia Steele, a 7-year-old special needs student with Down syndrome who attends Brevard Public Schools (BPS) in Florida, recently came home from school short of breath and with a mask tied to her head and neck with nylon rope. Her mask was saturated with her own saliva. “There’s a special place in hell for the three members of the Brevard County School Board who did this to Sofia Steele… There will be hell to pay,” Florida state Rep. Randy Fine said Friday.

This is really getting out of hand. A few weeks ago a 2 year old was forced to keep his mask on. Talk about child abuse on all levels. Enough of this. The pandemic is over, if there ever was one - if you can go in one store, not reason you can't go in all but that's another subject. Time for people to take back their freedom before it's lost forever. Get rid of school boards like this one. They're not thinking straight. Who knows where their heads are.

This has to be one of the most sickening articles I've read in a long time. But, I'm not surprised. The fact that this precious, gorgeous Downes child is even alive, irks these fascists. They believe she should have been aborted in the womb. She has no right to live. No one can tell me this didn't go through these abusers' heads. Lock them up, and quickly.

The pandemic was always an opportunist scam. Watch how the "elite" and "intelligentsia" are always scoffing and bare-faced when the cameras are off and the scene is full of their "upscale" buds. Kick a--, take names, and watch/wait for it to finally boil over....

This is beyond despicable ... it is out right assault & battery. If the school didn't want her in class unmasked then they should have sent her home. Period! That's exactly what they would have done in any other circumstance such as head lice, a severe cold with coughing, a spotted face (e.g., measles), etc. It's just the attitude that THEY can do anything they want with your kid. It has to stop.

The Government schools do not own your children, even though they arrogantly act like it. Medically these masks are causing problems with a child's respiratory system. Such as bronchitis, infections and lung infections from breathing in a mask all day long in school. Locally, a young man almost died from wearing a mask 8 hrs. a day and developed infections in his lungs and throughout his upper chest. So medically, a child wearing a mask can cause great medical harm. But do the Marxists care?

It's a shame that words get so misused that they lose their proper meanings. "Dumb" originally meant a person who could not speak. A person who could not hear or speak was "deaf and dumb". It has been so misused to mean "unintelligent", a slur on those who can't speak also being unintelligent, and now they had to invent a new term..."nonverbal"....which is cumbersome and awkward, too. The person that did this needs to have some really serious retaliation....however that comes. Start via the legal system and go from there.

This is beyond cruel. This is the type of insanity that allowed the Nazi's to kill millions. Likely a special education aide, who is scared of the virus & scared to lose her job is 'just following orders' - tying a mask onto this poor child. The Brevard County School Board (3 women - BTW) voted for this mask mandate. They did not allow any sort of opt-out - despite the fact that Florida's government called for that freedom. The State sanctioned them - and they did back down a few weeks ago. Jenifer Jenkins, a school board member, before this all came out IIRC - has had a bunch of interviews on MSNBC etc about how she has been threatened and abused for forcing the mandate. She also did a video on Face Book with her taking off masks on which she had written a script. Cases of the virus are down in BCS and she is claiming that the mask mandate is the reason. The abusive tactics used by public 'servants' with personality disorders is creeping into our lives. This woman (and the other board members) obviously has no regard for the rights of other people. She hides her disregard behind a big 'I care' virtue signal as well as fronting an 'I am the victim' tactic. This pandemic has revealed all sorts of bad behavior and personality disorders in our public officials - narcissism, hypochondria, authoritarianism, distorted world views, and thought patterns which see only things in "all or nothing" terms - to name just a few.

Virginia’s gubernatorial race is seen as a national bellwether. With the most recent polls showing Republican Glenn Youngkin, a former underdog, tied with his Democrat rival Terry McAuliffe, the outcome of the Nov. 2, 2021 election seems sure to rest on the smallest of margins. The more important trend for Americans to consider, however, lies not in the tight election, nor even in the party affiliation of the eventual victor, but on efforts by local election officials to violate state law to profit their preferred candidate.

All cultures are important and valuable, but it is a facile mistake to think all cultures are equal. They are not. Cultures are not equal in terms of values, rights, ethics, morality, achievements, advancements, nor any other comparative feature. This isn’t good or bad, it isn’t a celebration or indictment, it’s just a basic observation. In the 15th century, among other differences European culture had developed different philosophies and military armaments than their western-hemisphere counterparts.

In recent years, the NBA has most often landed in the political news cycle thanks to LeBron James’ disgusting habit of bowing and scraping before the Chinese Communist Party, or Steve Kerr’s refusal to breathe a word about the suppression of protests in Hong Kong or the oppression of Uighur Muslims while lecturing everyone on the evils of systemic racism and gun ownership in America.
