Democrats explode in frustration over
stalled reconciliation spending spree:

As Democrats face a self-imposed deadline to pass a sweeping reconciliation spending bill and a bipartisan infrastructure plan they appear in danger of doing neither – again. President Biden is leaving the United States Thursday for an international trip that will include, among other things, a climate summit. The president made clear he wanted have an agreement among Democrats about what the reconciliation deal will look like, and to sign the infrastructure bill, so that he can tout the climate provisions in both. "Here's the thing: The president looked at us in the eye and he said, ‘I need this before I go represent the United States in Glasgow,’"

I really believe that the $1.5 trillion reconciliation bill, alongside the $1.5 trillion "infrastructure" bill was their plan all along. The problem is the communists in their party thought that more was possible and now won't accept the smaller reconciliation bill.

The whole point of the multitude of checks and balances was to ensure that it would require compromise, and neither the extreme left/progressive positions would rule the day, or the extreme conservative positions would rule the day. Something the progressives have ignored, on purpose, it seems. At no time during the entire time Obama was either in the Illinois house, the US Senate, or as POTUS, did he ever negotiate, or even wanted to. He was giddy to have Harry Reid fix the Federal budget during the last 2 years of GWB presidency. He had a veto proof House and Senate, and barely obtained Obamacare after Brown won the MA Senate seat. When he lost the House, he simply allowed continuing resolutions to be passed so he didn't have to negotiate a deal with Republicans. Then did the same with the Senate Republicans to extend the CR through the end of his 2nd term.

After months of criticizing Sens. Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema for balking at the original $3.5 trillion price tag, congressional Democrats are finally accepting reality and paring President Biden’s social welfare package to between $1.5 trillion and $2 trillion over the decade. Does this mean they are responsibly removing the bill’s worst provisions and crafting fiscally sustainable legislation? Of course not!

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY., said that she will vote against her party's infrastructure bill if it comes to a vote Thursday because Democrats have not provided enough details on what will be in the larger social spending bill. "I don't see how ethically I can vote to increase U.S. climate emissions," Ocasio-Cortez said Wednesday, noting that a "framework" of President Biden's "Build Back Better" plan isn't enough detail to sway her vote on infrastructure. "We have had a framework for six months. We need text."

Homeland Security has expanded its list of locations off-limits for ICE enforcement to include anywhere near graveyards, community organization offices and any area where children “gather” — effectively blocking officers from making arrests across many urban areas. The new rules issued Wednesday are designed to give illegal immigrants and others associated with them access to essential services without having to fear arrest, said Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. “This principle is fundamental,” Mr. Mayorkas said in a memo to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Democrats have already nixed a contentious plan to tax the wealth of roughly 700 billionaires, Rep. Richard Neal (D-Mass.) confirmed Wednesday, after moderate Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.V.) voiced concerns earlier in the day over the proposed provision in President Joe Biden’s spending package. At a press conference Wednesday, Neal, chair of the House Ways and Means Committee, said the proposal was “out of the Biden plan” after Manchin, whose support is crucial for Democrats to pass legislation in the evenly split Senate, told reporters he didn't like the billionaire tax.

Authorities on Wednesday refused to rule out whether Alec Baldwin could face criminal charges after he accidentally shot dead his cinematographer and injured the director on the New Mexico set of his “Rust” film last week. Nearly a week after the shooting, Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza acknowledged during a press conference that there was “some complacency” in how weapons were handled on set — and that other live rounds were potentially uncovered amid the investigation.

U.S. Border Patrol plans to fire agents who don’t receive the COVID-19 vaccine. According to reports on Friday, the agency is looking to enforce Joe Biden’s federal vaccine mandate by the end of November. They said those who refuse to do so without an approved religious or medical exemption could face action up to termination. Critics have said this would only further complicate the crisis at the southern border, where over 1.5 million illegal immigrants have crossed in 2021 alone. Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs (R) said he believes as many as 5,000 agents could separate from Border Patrol over the issue.

A national education group that implied some parental activism is tantamount to "domestic terrorism" owes nearly $20 million to the IRS, according to tax forms reviewed by Just the News. Most of that comes from "accrued pension liability," as disclosed by the National School Boards Association's 2017 and 2018 Form 990 filings. Unlike those two, the 2019 form — the most recently filed — does not include an itemized list under the federal income taxes subheading for "other liabilities."

That definition should leave even those who have never had a course in accounting or finance shaken. Not only is Janet Yellen considering this, but the Democrat party is on board as well.
