A number of Republican members of Congress named in a Rolling Stone report as being involved in planning the details of rallies and electoral certification objection on the day of Jan. 6 ahead of the riot at the U.S. Capitol building, either personally or through top staff members, are pushing back on or outright refuting the story."No one in my office, including me, participated in the planning of the rally or in any criminal activity on Jan. 6. We did not attend or participate at all,” Texas Rep. Louie Gohmert said in a statement on Monday. “However, I am extremely interested to find out who, besides the FBI operatives,

#1--they won't. Because those allegedly defamed are public figures--which means the burden of proof is on the plaintiff to show "clear and convincing" evidence of malice. It's almost impossible to prove defamation of character by slander or libel of a public figure. Private citizens (like the college soccer players accused of rape) are another matter.

Is it coincidence that this article appeared just as the FBI’s involvement in the Jan 6th demonstration was becoming clearer? See earlier story on “mystery man” Ray Epps attempts to instigate an incident in the Capitol the evening of 1/5 and his activity on 1/6/21. Rolling Stoned is a useful idiot for Dems, and was surely fed fabricated info by Biden’s DoJ and FBI.

This is a great example of the problem we face! Republicans "lash out", always playing defense. They need to be taking this fight to the Left! Instead of defending themselves, let's go after Pelosi and the Dems who orchestrated this coup d'etat! It's an uphill battle for sure, but stop playing defense!!!

Rolling Stone wants so badly to be taken seriously for their political reporting. Problem is, they report on politics so badly.

More "anonymous sources." This isn't reporting, this is political activism. Rolling Stone is already a laughing stock for their breathless "reporting" of lies and "investigations" that don't go beyond interviews of "victims" and their anonymous sources. Rape at the University of Virginia that didn't happen, non-existent gunshot victims being refused treatment at Oklahoma hospitals because ERs were full of ivermectin overdoses: Rolling Stone needs to stick to reporting on which top 40 artist is better than the other, and leave the fake news reporting to the NYT and WAPO, who at least do a better job of almost making the stories believable.

Rolling Stone .. the home of the phony UVa rape story and how Okla. hospitals are turning away gunshot victims due to od of horse-deworming medicines (also false). Looks like they're going for the trifecta.

Rolling stone magazine or paper has been dead for more than forty years, maybe more. I know nobody I know bought it even back as far as 1974. It was a paper from the sixties and by the mid seventies, nobody wanted to read it. They put this article out to try and bring back it's image as a real newspaper. It won't work.

#4 gets the prize of the day for what I believe is the truth. The Dems led by Pelosi and the FBI orchestrated the Jan. 6 incident in order to incite a riot and blame it on President Trump. They turned down added security of the National Guard and also used their army of Antifa. It was a coup attempt and they are still pushing it while hundreds of political prisoners are still in prison after being led into the capitol by capitol police. This type of crap used to only happen in hell hole dictator led or communist countries.

Another falsehood would be that Reps. Taylor-Greene and Cawthorne and their staffs would be involved in the planning. These two were Congresscritters for maybe two days. They (and their staffs) would still be unpacking boxes and fumigating the office space (if formerly held by a Democrat).

Let us see the Republicans unite around the Revolver report on the instigators of J6. Enough video is available to prove that Government agents were behind the whole thing.
Revolver has the goods.
