Doug Wilder, Virginia's only black ex-governor in history and a Democrat, warned Vice President Kamala Harris and Terry McAuliffe that churches could lose their tax-exempt status if they play a video for the gubernatorial candidate's contentious election next week. Harris cut a video urging churchgoers to vote for McAuliffe, a Democrat that was to play at hundreds of black churches across the Old Dominion on Sunday. 'Well, it's very good for her to do that, causing these churches to lose their tax-exempt status,' Wilder sneered, referencing the Johnson Amendment, which bans organizations that are tax-exempt from supporting any candidate.
If IRS didn't go after the black churches when Sparklefarts was running from pulpit to pulpit, they aren't going to do it over Mattress Back, either.
Laws mean nothing to communists. Its time these writers wake the F up to that fact and stop pretending otherwise.

This won't stop them, because they know nothing will happen to the churches tax status. They just put this out there so that it looks like they're playing by the rules.

The only reason this article was written is to make it LOOK like the Dems obey laws. They don’t. Same with the article about the voting in VA and N J. Just another article to make it look like the Dems “play fair”.
They most likely will lose. But will stay in office.

What part of lawless does this author not understand? This administration cares nothing for the rule of law. They believe they will be in power forever and never give a thought that they may be breaking the law. They flat out just do not care.

There should be not one single Christian church that endorses the baby-killing McAwful.

GOOD pastors already realize in the next few years to fo what God has called them to do may indeed cost the government advantages. However, the thing is, good courageous pastors realize the Federal government is not their source. God is their Source.

What does she care about churches other than using them for her own ends..? You have to have some morals to care for churches...

No. There is no legal barrier to using Churches to campaign for McAwful. Dimocraps run the courts. Dimocraps run the Justice Department. Dimcraps run SCOTUS. Camel Toe can do whatever she wants. She has Presidential Immunity. Dimocraps will see to it that there is block voting in the Churches, and those ballots will then be counted as often as necessary to secure a Dimocrap victory. We learned that in 2020.
Churches will retain their tax-exempt status. It is the law: Dimocraps win.

Those rules are only for the little people. They don't apply to the elites.

Oh yeah. A quota church subject to the laws the rest of us have to live by. sure. Justice for us, Just-Us for them. They could show the video, take up campaign donations and nothing would happen to them A Dem run IRS enforcing the law when it affects Dems? No way.

There used to be two things that puzzled me about churches: why they entertain politicians to speak at services and why they continue to participate in Halloween festivities (darkness v light) Now a third puzzlement arises: why churches encourage Facebook pages for congregations and youth groups. That hasn't stopped me from speaking out about those issues.
