Equality row in the city over plans to
let firms include legally male staff who
identify as women in gender roll call
that is designed to close pay gap

City firms have been wrapped up in an equality row after it was revealed diversity proposals will allow companies to include transgender women in their gender roll calls. Equality targets will require more than a thousand of Britain's biggest companies to close the gender pay gap. But the proposals define a woman the same way as LGBTQ campaign group Stonewall rather than the way gender is usually recognised under UK law. If they go ahead, companies can meet percentage targets by including transgender women as female in their self-reported data — despite them not necessarily facing the same discrimination relating to their sex.

Comments:

And this is what happens when you pander to the diversity & equity crowd.

Why not just put down in your business records that most of the male employees identify as women and be done with the whole diversity requirement. I suggest we go as far as we can go with all this just so humans in the future can have a big knee slapping laugh.

Great idea! Woke natural born females will embrace this with open arms. Right? What? You say this really means that natural born males will see their percentages in the workplace INCREASE as the percentages of natural born females in the workplace will DECREASE? Yeah. Of course woke natural born females will embrace this with open arms!

Proof, once again, that men are better than women at everything...including being a woman. Step aside ladies, these men will break that glass ceiling with their latent testosterone and bigger muscles, all while wearing pantyhose and a dress! It will be an inspiration for us all! Misogynists will have the ultimate victory over women by co-opting their places in business and winning their trophies in sports. Where are the nags, the one's born with vaginas?

Since there is no real gender pay gap. Any differences in pay are due to productivity differences where some people take less time off or work longer hours than others and therefore are worth more and get better raises. If anything, this will probably cause the female side to appears to be paid even less since the trannies will have many more health issues and miss more work that average.

At least two suburban county sheriffs say they will send their deputies to help the Chicago Police Department only if city officers are in distress or under duress. So they say they will not respond if Chicago is short-staffed because it has suspended officers in a dispute about a COVID-19 vaccination mandate. "ILEAS (the Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System) typically responds to emergency situations where there is no opportunity for planning," Kane County Sheriff Ron Hain said Tuesday. "This situation to me is much different." "It's like a preplanned police shortage," DuPage County Sheriff James Mendrick said. "The lack of logic is the thing that astounds me."
