Biden burying businesses under red tape;
more rules on the way

Original Article

President Biden accelerated the regulatory state on his first day in office by ordering agencies to consider aspirational but vaguely defined goals and benefits when imposing new rules on businesses large and small. The order greenlighting regulations even when the benefits “are difficult or impossible to quantify” sent shudders down the spines of CEOs. They fear business growth will be smothered in pursuit of vague objectives such as “human dignity” and “the interests of future generations.” “It is the most aggressive thing I’ve ever seen by an administration,” said Doug Holtz-Eakin, president of the American Action Forum, a right-leaning economic think tank. “It’s one thing to put out

Comments:

The same grossly overpaid CEOs who backed the Biden junta know full well these rules will only harm smaller competitors while providing themselves with benefits under the table, which is how fascism works.

Obama destroyed business in June 2009. Pretty much everything came to a halt. The specter of the "Employer Mandate", which wasn't finalized until January 2014, kept businesses from hiring or expanding, and many who would have opened a business didn't. The few Wine Bars and Cookie Shops that did try were most likely, out of business within a year or two. Unnecessary and stupid regulations (and no, most of them are not health and safety measures to prevent heartless business owners from mistreating employees) that are just "rules because we can make rules" crippled business owners. Now, more regulations for businesses on top of the pandemic nightmare and it's rules will kill them dead.

The highly contagious delta variant of the coronavirus did not appear to cause more “severe outcomes” in hospitalized patients, a new federal report says. An analysis by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention looked at data from 14 states and “found no significant increases in the proportion of hospitalized COVID-19 patients with severe outcomes during the delta period.” The report delves into one of the burning questions about the delta variant that dominated the U.K. and the rest of the globe, including the U.S., over the mid-summer. While the variant can be fast-moving and spread widely, the report suggests it doesn’t cause more severe disease, as suspected.

More than 140 technology service providers and resellers have been notified as recent targets of the hackers and 14 of them are believed to have been compromised, Microsoft said in a blog

And to fight evil, to stop it, is the most important thing anyone can do.What justifies the use of “evil” as a descriptor? It’s a dangerous word to use, one that has been abused throughout history to demonize innocent people as well as condemn the guilty. But there is no other word for what these people are doing, both in tactic and objective.
