Dozens of immigration activists allegedly walked out of a virtual meeting with Biden administration officials on Saturday morning in protest over the White House’s plan to restart the Trump era “Remain in Mexico” program, Politico reports. The advocates read a statement accusing the administration of “playing politics with human lives” ahead of a virtual meeting with multiple officials, including people from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the White House Domestic Policy Council’s Esther Olavarria. (snip)Top immigration enforcement officials in President Joe Biden’s administration said late Thursday they’re prepared to restart the border policies enacted during the Trump administration in November, provided that Mexico agrees to cooperate.

Comments:

So Joebama and Mayorkas et al have decided this may be the best way after all to solve the border crisis they created?

Turning thousands of unvetted, COVID-infested illegals lose in the US is “playing politics with human lives”. I wouldn't expect Brandon, his handlers or their sycophants to understand or care about the difference.

These people are not immigration activists. They are activists for illegal immigration. Someone who sneaks across the border is not an immigrant.

Staring 2 MILLION illegals in the face from all over the planet the Bidiots have realized they're toast. They will bust their chops trying to bring back the immigration policies that were in place before they were 'elected' and by next summer will be flooding the campaign with TV ads about how THEY fixed immigration. Sadly idiots will buy it.

The FBI's Denver office said Thursday that remains found a day earlier in a Florida nature reserve are those of Brian Laundrie, who disappeared last month just days after his fiancée Gabby Petito was reported missing. The FBI said dental records confirmed the identification. Two local detectives visited the North Port, Florida, home of Laundrie's parents shortly before the FBI made its announcement.

Sometimes even New York Times columnists tell the truth. For instance, a recent article by Jennifer Finney Boylan was headlined “Abortion Rights and Trans Rights Are Two Sides of the Same Coin.” Yes, and the coin is currency from Hell. Although there are abortion supporters who oppose transgenderism and vice versa, Boylan is correct that the justifications for abortion and transgenderism share most of their ideological DNA. Both are rooted in hatred for the givenness of human embodiment and its limitations. Both should be rejected in favor of something better. Boylan, who identifies as transgender, objects to giving “the state the right to limit what you can or cannot do with your

Washington — A revamped bill aimed at strengthen voting rights and overhauling the nation's election systems failed to advance in the Senate on Wednesday, as Democrats couldn't overcome unanimous opposition from Republicans who criticized the bill as federal overreach. The procedural vote to begin debate on the Freedom to Vote Act was 49 in favor to 51 against, far short of the 60 votes needed to advance the measure. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer changed his vote to "no" as a procedural maneuver that allows him to bring the bill to the floor again. All 50 Republicans voted against advancing to debate.

Smith asked whether it would be “deemed unlawful or otherwise subject to discipline” for doctors to prescribe ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, or other “off label use” medications to treat or prevent COVID-19.

The new test is believed to have taken place on August 13 and involved a similar 'hypersonic glide vehicle' to one launched into space on board a Long March rocket back in July, which was first reported earlier this week. Beijing has acknowledged one of the tests, claiming it launched a 'peaceful' civilian spacecraft.
