Jon Stewart says media making 'mistake'
casting Trump as 'incredible supervillain'

Comedian Jon Stewart said the media's hyper-focus on former President Donald Trump is a mistake and that casting him as an "incredible supervillain" distracts from other threats. The former "Daily Show" host told CNN's Jake Tapper in an interview airing Sunday that political pundits are "making a mistake" blaming Trump for the country's divisive discourse, arguing they should turn their focus to the threat posed by much larger institutions that have dangerously embraced "the idea that power is its own reward.""I think we make a mistake focusing this all on Donald Trump, as if he's … Magneto and some incredible supervillain

Trump is the best President of my lifetime. He created the best economy in half a century with rising wages, prosperity increasing for all, far LESS racial strife, and closed the border and was actually building The Wall that the Repubs lied about building. He's forever a hero in my mind. "super villain" .....it takes a real fool to ignore all the good he did and to believe the media lies and and a total liar in each media outlet to push all these lies about him.

#7, I would like to think Stewart has been red pilled but I seriously doubt it. Secretly, he may have questions but he knows if he moves in the direction of truth that it is the end of him. Democrats do not forgive, they cancel. In the end, they will all march in lockstep because they fear culled from the herd more than they value truth.

Is Stewart a Communist? Does he believe in free speech and a good economy? Is he following the Party line? After all, I think he too is a William and Mary graduate like Joe's mouthpiece Jan and former FBI director Comey.

What the left never considers is human nature. The more they trash PDT, the stiffer grow the spines of his supporters to keep right on supporting him. You’d think they would get a clue from his rallies.

Jake Tapper annoys me much more than Jon Stewart does. When he started into his reverie about President Trump being hostile to the media, which could embolden crazies to make pipe bombs and leave them where they could hurt media outlets, I stopped the video. All I could think of was the crazy lunatic who started sniper-shooting Republican congressmen playing baseball. That's the crazy guy. The media and Pelosi and Schumer emboldened him, not Trump. Trump never verbally attacked the media personalities until they attacked him. His "sin" was that he refused to take their abuse lying down. He fought back. Yes, that escalated the confrontation rate, but the media and the dems initiated it, not President Trump. Tapper also tapped into the crap about the "big lie" that there was cheating in the 2020 election. That's no lie. That's reality, and I won't sit still and listen to media morons who refuse to acknowledge the widespread inconsistencies we're all familiar with that handed the presidency to the basement dementia patient.

As the left now offers condolences for the death of Colin Powell -- as they should -- it's clarifying to recall what the left was saying about him before he began openly voting Democrat.Back in 2002, when the Bush administration was leading the country, Powell received what today is a common racial epithet the left uses towards minorities on the right. That year, famed calypso singer Harry Belafonte called Powell a “house slave.” During an interview with a San Diego-based radio show, Belafonte slammed Powell

Nearly a year has passed since the 2020 election, yet there has not been a clear, satisfactory answer to the central mystery: How did a dull, declining Joe Biden manage to get more than 81 million votes and win the presidency? After all, Biden spent most of the pandemic-laced campaign in his Delaware basement and his appearances were marked by sparse crowds and signs he had lost more than a step. Yet he flipped five states Hillary Clinton lost in 2016, including Georgia and Arizona, and racked up 306 electoral votes to Donald Trump’s 232.
