Nearly a year has passed since the 2020 election, yet there has not been a clear, satisfactory answer to the central mystery: How did a dull, declining Joe Biden manage to get more than 81 million votes and win the presidency? After all, Biden spent most of the pandemic-laced campaign in his Delaware basement and his appearances were marked by sparse crowds and signs he had lost more than a step. Yet he flipped five states Hillary Clinton lost in 2016, including Georgia and Arizona, and racked up 306 electoral votes to Donald Trump’s 232.

Former President Bill Clinton has been released from a Southern California hospital on Sunday after he spent five nights receiving treatment for a urological infection.
Clinton and his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, left the University of California Irvine Medical Center in Orange, just southeast of Los Angeles, as they held each other's arms. The former president shook hands with hospital staff as he departed the facility alongside his wife of 46 years. Just before his release, the former first lady was seen being escorted to the entrance of the facility early on Sunday morning.

President Joe Biden and his wife Jill enjoyed an Italian seafood dinner at a Michelin-starred Washington DC restaurant on Saturday evening. The Bidens dressed up for what the White House dubbed as a 'date night' at Fiola Mare in Washington Harbor. The couple looked loved up and held hands as they made their way into the restaurant, followed by secret service downed in black suits and black face masks. They had earlier attended church at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Georgetown. The date came on 'Sweetest Day' - a holiday celebrated in the Midwest and Florida to celebrate romantic deeds and expressions.

Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that the supply chain backups at America’s ports were a product of President Joe Biden guiding the economy “out of the teeth of a terrifying recession,” which caused incomes and demand to rise.Anchor Jake Tapper said, “We are seeing supply chain disruption causing everything from higher prices to longer waits for products. Moody’s warns that these supply chain disruptions, quote, ‘will get worse before they get better, ‘ unquote. do Americans need to prepare ourselves for this to get worse before it gets better?”Buttigieg said, “Certainly, a lot of the challenges that we have been experiencing

The Art Institute of Chicago fired all of its roughly 100 volunteer museum guides, or docents, in September because too many of them were wealthy, white women. The news of the mass firing has only trickled out slowly, partly because the institute asked docents not to speak to the media, and because the left-leaning Chicago media showed little interest in covering the issue.(Snip)Ironically, the Journal was able to speak to one of the fired docents, who happened to be black, and defied the museum’s request that no one speak directly to the media—perhaps because she had less fear of being accused of racism.

President Biden will undergo a physical examination soon but no specific date has been set, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said at a news briefing Thursday.
Video from the briefing shows Psaki fielding questions from Playboy reporter Brian Karem as she donned a face mask and prepared to leave the White House briefing room after a session with a roomful of journalists."Hey Jen, will he take a physical anytime soon and report it to the American public?" Karem asked about Biden, who will turn 79 years old Nov. 20 and is the oldest man ever to serve in the Oval Office."He will," Psaki responded.

She's the progressive firebrand who divides the left and is hated by the right, but Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez might not be most outspoken member of her family. Gabriel Ocasio-Cortez, was described as AOC's 'hot, gay, rave-hosting little brother,' in a fawning article published Saturday by The Cut. Self-described anti-capitalist Gabriel, 28, who is partially deaf, is also an aspiring musician, promoter, an advocate for the deaf and hard-of-hearing and a former real-estate agent who does not shy away from controversy.'I think that the Democratic party is so bought and paid for.

Three young female artists have been left feeling 'distraught' after their vibrant murals celebrating diversity in Cardiff were washed away by bungling cleaners who mistook them for graffiti. For Cardiff, the company who commissioned the artwork, said the striking coloured paintings on 11 concrete pillars near a former Debenhams had intended to 'brighten up' the city centre, and they offered a 'sincere and heartfelt apology' to the artists.(Snip)The Turner Prize-nominated artist from Cardiff had adorned several pillars in paintings of women from various cultural backgrounds singing, dancing and performing. Pete Buttigieg has been away from his desk at the Department of Transportation for two months and no one noticed until this week. He’s been home on paternity leave since the birth of his twins. Normally, we might just shrug our shoulders and say who cares? These are not normal times, though, and there is a transportation crisis going on that has to be handled. The supply chain is facing severe disruption and cargo ships are backed up trying to get their goods unloaded in American ports, especially in California. Where’s Pete?
Politico had a piece about Pete going missing, having only now realized it, too, apparently. The liberal site dragged

President Joe Biden’s own Department of Justice just laid the smackdown on him after he urged the January 6 House Select Committee to prosecute those who do not comply with a Congressional subpoena.
As he was outside the White House on Friday a CNN reporter asked him if those people, like former White House chief strategist Bannon, should be prosecuted.
“Mr. President, what’s your message to people who defy Congressional subpoenas on the January 6 committee?” the reporter said.
“I hope that the committee goes after them and holds them accountable criminally,” he said.
“Should they be prosecuted by the Justice Department?” the reporter pressed.
“I do, yes,” the president said.
