Two men sought by the family of Ashli Babbitt as witnesses to her shooting death at the U.S. Capitol have been identified as previously arrested by the FBI and indicted on federal charges from the Jan. 6 riots.
The owner of a Texas winery is the “Gadsden Flag Man” who was in the center of the Speaker’s Lobby hallway just feet away when Ashli Babbitt was shot to death at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.
A man from Mount Washington, Kentucky, indicted in March 2021 is the man seen on video in the orange-red jacket and gray cap who allegedly smashed a window in the Speaker’s Lobby door with the

On Wednesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “The Beat,” Senate Judiciary Committee member Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI) said she wants Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer’s replacement to be someone “who will consider the impact, the effects of whatever decision-making is on people in our country so that they are not making decisions just based on” the law.
(snip) “What I’m looking for is a justice who can be fair and impartial and who does not have an ideological axe to grind, which is what we saw — as far as I’m concerned — in President Trump’s nominees, including to the Supreme Court.

President Joe Biden’s criteria for a new Supreme Court justice — that she be black and female — are “unconstitutional” in other contexts, according to the Court itself.
(snip)
Biden promised during the 2020 Democratic Party presidential primary to nominate a black and female justice to the Court at the first opportunity. (snip)
Joe Biden made two pledges to voters and asked his opponent to do the same to nominate only a black woman for the next open Supreme Court seat (snip) What Biden was declaring, and what Sanders wisely avoided, would effectively constitute discrimination in admission to the Supreme Court.

A doctor who has been offering free telehealth services to COVID-19 patients during the pandemic says that early treatment for COVID-19 works, claiming that he has a 99.99 percent survival rate.
“We have a team of volunteer free doctors that donate their time to help treat these patients that come to us,” Dr. Ben Marble, the founder of myfreedoctor.com, an online medical consultation service, said at a roundtable discussion hosted by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) on Jan. 24.

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer was ushered into retirement by “left-wing dark money groups,” according to a statement Wednesday by Carrie Severino, president of the conservative Judicial Crisis Network.
Breyer’s retirement was reported by the press before he himself made it, leading to speculation that it had been leaked by a White House eager to appease left-wing critics after its recent legislative failures — and worried about Republicans winning the Senate in 2022.(snip)
Left-wing groups and elected Democrats had been pressuring Breyer to retire for months, fearful of repeating the experience of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death in 2020, which allowed President Donald Trump to appoint a third Supreme

As usual, the media coverage on the Ukraine crisis is largely inadequate. Perversely, most of the aggressive left-wing media want to escalate the feud with Russian President Vladimir Putin to the point of driving Russia into the arms of China. This is the only way Russia (whose GDP is smaller than Canada’s) could seriously damage the West.
At the same time, some conservative commentators, including some of the stars at Fox News, are unreasonably accusing those who favor resisting Russian aggression in Ukraine of being warmongers and trying to propel America into endless, useless war. Again.
There is a legitimate American and Western interest in not allowing Russia to trample

COVID-19 can be stopped without massive vaccination, renowned cardiologist and epidemiologist Dr. Peter McCullough told NTD’s “Capitol Report” program during the “Defeat the Mandates” march in Washington D.C., on Jan. 23.
According to McCullough, early treatment and natural immunity are safe and effective against COVID-19, but federal health agencies have ignored these in a push for vaccines, the broad use of which is not needed.
“The government has certainly been in an oblivion in terms of early treatment,” he said.
Thousands of people turned out to march in protest against COVID-19 vaccine mandates—one of the largest U.S. events against the mandates since the start of the pandemic.

Deescalation appears to be accelerating over the Ukraine crisis given a number of rapid developments which have seen lead NATO countries break from the more bellicose and threatening tone of the United States and UK. After Germany's neutrality toward the Russia-Ukraine crisis became apparent, Sweden is the latest to follow its lead of forbidding arms transfers to Kiev, while Croatia is out with a firm statement saying it will recall all of its troops from NATO in the event of war.
This followed on the heels of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announcing that circumstances in the region are now "under control" and that there's "no reason to panic" according to

Way back in September, Lifesite ran a story on the potential dangers from treatment with monoclonal antibodies. If you’ll recall, not only Ron DeSantis but prominent medical authorities were pushing this treatment hard—including many of the early treatment proponents. Here’s the link:
Monoclonal antibodies for COVID-19 tested on fetal cells, risk ‘serious side effects’
‘Not a lot of people have been given REGEN-COV,’ a fact sheet for a top monoclonal antibody treatment states. ‘Serious and unexpected side effects may happen.’
The FDA has now withdrawn Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for monoclonal antibodies. (snip) they’re “less” effective than against earlier variants. Or, in the alternative, they’re “highly unlikely” to help.

It’s been a while, but the Marvelettes should consider coming back to rerecord their 1961 hit “Please Mr. Postman,” not to mention the MissBehave Girl Band who did a cover in 2019 and the Fab Four themselves, who did their own version back in the day. (Rerecording might be difficult for them.)
The lyrics—“Mister postman look and see / Is there a letter in your bag for me”—are not sufficiently “woke” (i.e., “inclusive”), according to Microsoft.
The corporation has introduced a (voluntary, for now) on-screen editor in their almost universally used Office software to guide us away from what they deem “non-inclusive” language to proper “wokespeak.”
Hence, no more sexist “postman.”

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced Jan. 24 it is restricting the use of two monoclonal antibody treatments for COVID-19, saying data show such treatments are “highly unlikely” to be active against the Omicron variant, currently the dominant strain in the country.
Monoclonal antibodies are laboratory-created proteins that mimic natural antibodies the body produces to fight off harmful pathogens, (snip)
The agency revised its emergency authorization for the two COVID-19 treatments that come from Regeneron and Eli Lilly. Their use is now limited to when the COVID-19 patient is “likely to have been infected with or exposed to a variant that is susceptible to these treatments.”

This is some next level sketchy, borderline evil, stuff from the U.S. medical establishment. The FDA has revoked the authorization status of monoclonal antibody treatments [Announcement Here], effectively shutting down the treatment option for patients exposed to COVID-19.
The FDA gave no advanced notice of their arbitrary decision; they just issued a press release Monday evening and immediately revoked the Emergency Use Authorization.
The result was that no states were given any time to prepare for the shutdown or cancel the scheduled appointments of their patients. (snip) below the surface it looks like the FDA reason for the revocation is to push the Pfizer and Merck pills as
