If there is one thing most Americans can’t stand, it is flagrant examples of government waste. (snip)We still have government waste today, but with a price tag that is orders of magnitude higher and with this cherry on top: It is causing existential damage to our nation, both now and in the future.
Rather than just overpaying for goods and services, our government today buys materials and then pays contractors not to build anything with them. This is currently happening at our southern border in Texas, where the Biden Administration is refusing to build the border wall with materials already paid for during the Trump Administration.

Update (1715ET): To the surprise of absolutely nobody, CNN is in major damage control mode after Joe Rogan slammed the network over their coverage of his use of Ivermectin as part of a cocktail he used to treat Covid-19. (Tweet) Note how CNN's framing is absolutely disingenuous - with Lemon suggesting they didn't slander Rogan for taking 'horse dewormer' - whiled Gupta lied when he said there's 'no evidence that it [Ivermectin] really works' against Covid.(Snip)During the exchange, Gupta conceded that his network's framing of Ivermectin, a widely-prescribed anti-parasitic which has shown tremendous efficacy in treating Covid-19, was wrong.

Like President Biden, who said in December 2020, “I don’t think it should be mandatory, I wouldn’t demand it be mandatory,” I was opposed to COVID-19 vaccine mandates from the start. Unlike President Biden, I haven’t flip-flopped.
In fact, my opposition to mandates is growing stronger with each new anecdote and piece of information that shows not only how futile they are but how devastating these self-inflicted harms will be. President Biden, his administration, corporate media, and social media are denying three realities: (Snip)The two main criticisms of discussing this data from VAERS are that it does not prove the COVID injections caused these injuries (although these numbers should still alarm)

Los Angeles’ political and community leaders were stunned by the corruption indictment handed down Wednesday against Mark Ridley-Thomas, one of the city’s best-known and longest-serving officials.
Ridley-Thomas is accused of conspiring with Marilyn Louise Flynn, who at the time was dean of USC’s School of Social Work, to steer county money to the university in return for admitting his son Sebastian into the graduate school with a full-tuition scholarship and a paid professorship. Ridley-Thomas was on the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors at the time. He was later elected to the City Council representing South Los Angeles.

Reflecting the national media’s scant coverage of the Spygate scandal, only 3 in 10 Americans say they are aware that a special prosecutor is investigating the origins of the Trump-Russia “collusion” probe, according to a nationwide survey conducted this month by TechnoMetrica Institute of Policy and Politics (TIPP).
But of those who say they know of Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation, most say they want him to get to the bottom of whether the FBI opened investigations into several Trump campaign advisers during the 2016 election (snip)
(62 percent) of respondents say they want the Justice Department to renew Durham’s budget for another fiscal year, the TIPP poll found, and a

Several news outlets (Bloomberg below) are noting the Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), has submitted the worker vaccine rule to the White House for review prior to publishing as an ’emergency temporary standard’.
While this may be seen as disappointing by many, the moment the rule hits the federal register, it will be subject to lawsuits before implementation. Until the DoL/OSHA rule hits the books, the mandate is nothing except a statement of intent.
Once the emergency rule is put into the register, then various state attorneys general and private sector employers or employees will be able to seek injunctions and challenge the legality

Progressive democrats, Wall Street multinationals and the RNC establishment are pouring money into republican incumbents like Liz Cheney in order to keep the UniParty structure as strong as possible in Washington DC. The RNC led by Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, is upholding a club rule not to give any republican party funding to primary challengers. (snip) Up until now, it has been grassroots donations funding GOP candidates/challengers (snip) According to the latest campaign contributions, (snip) PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel, a friend of the blue-collar billionaire team and a Main Street MAGA supporter, is now stepping in to assist the challengers with financing.

This horrific story is grotesque and enraging. A 14 year-old student was raped and sodomized by a teenage sexual predator in Virginia on May 28th. The school never called the police and apparently wanted to keep the incident covered up because the rapist identifies as a transgender student.
The predator used the transgender bathroom policies of the Loudoun County school system to gain access to the girls bathroom, where he raped and sodomized the victim.
When the father Mr. Scott Smith went to confront the school board in June, he was arrested. (snip) National School Board Association later used the incident of Mr. Smith’s arrest to label the victim’s father

I often see Dr Anthony Fauci on TV or quoted in newspapers. So it seemed a good moment to outline the part of the story that I know about.
Fauci is a ghastly inhuman person. Watch Kary Mullis’ last interviews. Scientifically, he drew a bead on Saint Fauci over the AIDS scandal. AZT (Wellcome) was a toxic drug from anti-cancer & immunosuppression research, being an analogue of the bases used in genetics.(snip)Fauci slid remdesivir into treatment guidelines almost, it seems, based on his say so.
He hadn’t treated patients for decades if he ever did.
Remdesivir as ‘standard of care’ for Covid-19 resulted in huge numbers of avoidable deaths.

The remarkable similarities between a recently leaked 2018 proposal from EcoHealth Alliance head Peter Daszak and the defining characteristics of COVID-19 raise new questions regarding the origins of the pandemic.
The proposal, dated March 27, 2018, sets out the organization’s plan to create entirely new coronaviruses through the synthetic combination of preexisting virus backbones. It describes how those viruses were going to be made more virulent in humans by the insertion of a furin cleavage site, a feature that distinguishes COVID-19 from all other SARS-related coronaviruses.
The plan also envisaged the creation of an aerosolized vaccine that could be used to immunize wild bat populations.

Pilots are protesting Southwest Airlines’ requirement that all employees must get COVID-19 vaccinations, and news reports speculated that mass cancelations of Southwest flights that began over the weekend were the result of pilots staging a “sickout.” But employee protests, sickouts, walk-outs, and terminations may not be the biggest threats employers face if they impose vaccine mandates.
Employers that are considering forcing their employees to get COVID-19 vaccines as a condition of employment should be aware they could face legal liability—and potentially for big money—if and when an employee or potential hire suffers death or other adverse health

Central Maine Medical Center, a key hospital for regional healthcare, issued a dire warning about the need to shut down critical care services last week if they are forced to fire or lay-off all the unvaccinated workers. The hospital appealed to the Governor’s office, Democrat Janet Mills(snip), for a testing option to avoid losing some of the most important care providers in their system.
Today, the hospital quantified their issue and announced they were going to suspend pediatric admissions as well as heart attack and trauma admissions, because they just will not be able to operate.
Unfortunately, the Democrat Governor has announced she doesn’t care if the hospital has to shut down.
