Aside from being put on unpaid leave, New York City teachers who’ve declined to get the COVID-19 vaccine won’t be allowed to keep their health benefits for another year unless they give up their right to sue the city over its vaccine mandate. Pretty shallow effort to indemnify the city for forcing the clot shot on people. Guess they aren't very confident in the product they are pushing so hard.

A contract signed under duress isn't enforcable, or am I wrong? Along with the signature, the teachers should add 'signed under duress' see an atty and hope for the best. What is the school system afraid of - sickness or death from the forced medical experement?

There was a very clever cardinal, Czech IIRC, who was forced by the Soviet occupiers to sign a document alleging his guilt. After his name he wrote two tiny initials 's.v.'....sub vi, Latin for 'under force'. I can't remember if the dopey commies figured it out. But NYC commies are TWICE as stupid.

The Teachers Union is not much good if that is the best they could do! They are supposed to support their teachers, not support the Biden agenda while paying token lip service to the teachers interests.

Since it has been revealed that Congress and their staff are exempt from vaccinations, the case should be made that they are as equal as they and should be exempt also.

Silver lining, could this bring an end to teachers unions? Perhaps they will now see that the union is on the side of politicians, not teachers. Funny, just a few months ago these teachers were being hailed as heroes.

Central Maine Medical Center, a key hospital for regional healthcare, issued a dire warning about the need to shut down critical care services last week if they are forced to fire or lay-off all the unvaccinated workers. The hospital appealed to the Governor’s office, Democrat Janet Mills(snip), for a testing option to avoid losing some of the most important care providers in their system. Today, the hospital quantified their issue and announced they were going to suspend pediatric admissions as well as heart attack and trauma admissions, because they just will not be able to operate. Unfortunately, the Democrat Governor has announced she doesn’t care if the hospital has to shut down.

Firefighters and numerous studies credit intensive forest thinning projects with helping save communities like those recently threatened near Lake Tahoe in California and Nevada, but dissent from some environmental advocacy groups is roiling the scientific community. States in the U.S. West and the federal government each year thin thousands of acres of dense timber and carve broad swaths through the forest near remote communities, all designed to slow the spread of massive wildfires. The projects aim to return overgrown forests to the way they were more than a century ago, when lower-intensity blazes cleared the underbrush regularly and before land managers began reflexively extinguishing every wildfire as soon as possible.

Democrats say Trump can't be taken for granted. While some are confident a new Trump candidacy would bring out a wave of Democratic voters to defeat him, others are worried he could return to power. And that's enough to bring shudders to most in the party. "There's not a strategist or insider that I'm hanging out with who would like to see Donald Trump running again," said Rachel Bitecofer, a Democratic pollster. "Nobody should think he would be a weak nominee."
