Southwest Airlines has been hit by a second day of mass-flight cancellations, two days after the firm's pilots' union asked a court to block a COVID vaccine mandate. The Dallas-based carrier canceled over 1,000 flights Sunday, equivalent to 27 per cent of its entire schedule for the day. That came hot on the heels of 808 flights canceled on Saturday. Southwest has blamed a combination of inclement weather and staffing shortages at Jacksonville Air Traffic Control Center in Florida for the disruption.(Snip)'Strange how the ATC issues and weather are still only affecting your airline at MCO,' she tweeted. 'Must be some crazy storms if they’re only targeting

Wait until your emergency surgery is "postponed." Or your 9-1-1 home invasion call is answered with "We are too busy to take your call."

Seems Biden has the Midas Touch, only in reverse. Every thing he Touches turns into a NEW Problem for the American People. His Mandate on the Vaccine has caused turmoil in every State. From Teachers walking out to Nurses and Doctors, to Police and Military and now Pilots! The Whole Country is upside down thanks to Biden. I hope the Democrats in Congress realize that the Voters have had it with Democrat Rule and are going to vote the whole Lot of them out the first chance they get! Enough is enough!

Getting a dangerous shot is just NOT going to happen for many people, especially those not easily ignored or replaces....like airline pilots.

It's time people force unions to work for them, if you're forced to have them, or make them hit the road.

Southwest must think they are like the government and can lie with impunity but unlike the government they don't give out free stuff.

I deleted my Weather Channel app as I looked at the national radar map and saw only a small weather event in Kansas. Southwest elites must think we are idiots! And we already know the elites pander to the Fauci, Biden's handlers, the fake EO and the pharmaceutical money laundering more than their employees. Bad choices are tough! Deal with it.

It looks like Jen Psacky is also spokesperson for SW Airlines. How can you lie to the public and and your customers like this? No other airline is experiencing the same air traffic control and weather issues.

Looks like Gary Kelly's outfit took on some water this weekend. Southwest is paying the price now for bowing to biden the cheater's vax mandate. It's balance sheet for 4Q21 will be mighty ugly.

Not often in sympathy with unions, but in this case I hope they hold out. It is time this government led by a man with dementia and a hoe is crushed. Can’t wait for 2022.

By canceling the flights due to bad weather, the airlines are not responsible for room and board for those delayed. The costs in hotel rooms, meals, etc for 1000’s of cancelled flights would be a financial catastrophe. The government will bail them out.

Is it just me, or does it seem like more and more, the best reporting on stories like this one are coming from foreign news sources? The Daily Mail is doing the job that the NY Times, Washington Post, and the networks should be doing. I suppose it's a positive sign that at least someone is doing their job.

It’s not just you 27. The DM has been filling in with stories the US media has spiked or ignored for several years. If it doesn’t fit the narrative, our media will never run the story.
