Anyone Notice Where COVID Rates Are Climbing

So much for President Joe Biden’s attacks on Republican states such as Texas and Florida for threatening their citizens by not kowtowing to his dictates on mask and vaccine mandates. As we noted weeks ago, and the mainstream press has only now begun to acknowledge, new cases of COVID peaked at the beginning of September, and have been on a downtrend ever since. Cases are falling in Texas, in Florida, and other states that dared put their residents’ freedoms above Biden’s dictates. But while the national trend is downward, COVID cases are rising in a handful of states.

Cases are falling in Illinois too, and I can assure you our fat sack of a governor isn't putting our resident's freedoms above Xiden's dictates. He's in process right now of working to force all State employees to get the death shot. Only the unions are standing in his way. Cases are falling because, as #1 said, of seasonality. They will be on the upswing in a couple of months, and the next round of panic and mandates will be underway.

Looking at these graphs, I am unimpressed that differences are anything but statistical over-interpretation. I like this to be true but a more convincing analysis would group ALL the blue states against the red.

Get ready for the impact of people spending more time indoors in the frozen North just like we saw the impact of people retreating to the indoor AC during the seasonal summer swelter down South.

Utah's covid cases are on the rise. Utah is run by globalist so-called GOP who all hate Trump and welcome illegals. They oppose all real Conservativism ..... might as well be Dems. We have so many new "refugees" that the mormon missionaries are being ordered (they are the religion's slave labor) to work at Catholic charities to mete out goods and services to foreigners while the homeless population is suffering the onslaught of a harsh Autumn out of doors. Add to this the seasonality of covid.....it really has been freezing here, lately. And Utah's MDs are not allowed to treat covid with anything that we know works, too. So.....

Just when you thought Democrats couldn’t get more arrogant or dishonest, President Joe Biden on Tuesday, visiting the congressional district of one of the House’s less-extreme Democrats, warned that “autocrats” in the world are scrutinizing America for signs of decline on the geopolitical stage, and we therefore must “invest in ourselves” to prove “that American democracy works.” Translation: spend trillions with a T establishing a new series of cradle-to-grave entitlements that, like our already-existing entitlements, will in short order become politically impossible ever to repeal.
Liberal States Flunk The Education Equity Test 1 reply

Race-obsessed liberals talk a good game when it comes to “equity.” But they could learn a thing or two about delivering it from conservatives who focus on opportunity, not outcomes. That’s one conclusion you can safely draw from a state-by-state analysis of education equity by WalletHub. In a report released in August, WalletHub looked at 12,927 school districts throughout the U.S. and ranked them comparing average household income and per-pupil spending at public schools in those districts. The bigger the difference, the worse the state scored on equity. It’s not hard to see a pattern

As Democrats scramble to rescue their massive spending bills amid internal divisions between moderates in the party and the far left, they are getting little support outside their own base, according to the latest I&I/TIPP poll. Over the weekend, President Joe Biden had to contend with not getting his bi-partisan $1.1 billion infrastructure plan passed through the Democratically controlled House without having a vote on the $3.5 trillion spending plan. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had to scuttle plans for a vote on the $1.1 trillion infrastructure plan after far-left members of her caucus said

While Washington works overtime to churn out a massive $3.5 trillion social spending package with tax increases during a pandemic with inflation running at or above 5%, Americans prefer cutting government spending to control inflation. Americans are also unanimous that current inflation is not transitory. These are the key findings from an I&I/TIPP poll of 1,300 Americans completed early September. The poll asked if inflation is a long-term problem or a short-term problem that will soon disappear. The charts below show the results.

You know inflation is a problem when it gets harder to find something for $1 at Dollar Tree stores. And that’s exactly what’s happening as the discount chain announced that many of its goods would carry a price of up to $1.50. There’s been more bad news on the inflation front this week, so, naturally, Biden is looking for someone or something else to blame – other than his own economic policies. As soon as Biden conjured up his reckless $1.9 trillion “rescue” plan, economists left and right said that pumping that much deficit-financed spending into a fast-growing economy risked sparking an inflationary spiral,

Japan announced Tuesday that it was lifting its coronavirus state of emergency. The country joins Norway, Sweden, and Denmark in returning to normal. America, however, will continue to be largely under the boot of politicians, bureaucrats, and meddlesome public health officials. Even convicts have release dates. But we have no idea when we’ll be liberated because there are no objective standards, only political whim. When asked Monday “how many Americans need to be vaccinated for us to go back to normal,” President Joe Biden replied:

President Joe Biden and the officials in his administration have a bad habit of telling us that they’re not doing what we clearly see they are doing. Case in point: Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas who, despite repeatedly and insistently claiming the border is “closed,” has admitted it really isn’t. Right now, the Border Patrol is dealing with a sudden and overwhelming influx of Haitians following last summer’s coup in that poverty-stricken country. They’re part of a growing mix of people from Central America, South America, the Caribbean, and even as far away as the Mideast and Africa,

Three weeks ago, President Joe Biden told America he’d ordered his regulators to draw up “emergency” workplace rules requiring vaccinations for everyone working for big companies. Those rules have yet to emerge. And they might not emerge for another month and a half. Meanwhile, the Biden administration announced on Friday – which is the day politicians choose to release news when they want minimal coverage – that federal contractors will have until Dec. 8 to comply with that part of his mandate. More than two months from now. In other words,

If there were any doubts that the Democrats are closeted authoritarians who sometimes crack the door and reveal their urge to rule like autocrats, all should have been removed last week when President Joe Biden yapped about federal tax policy. “I’m running to change the dynamic of how the economy grows,” he said. “I’m tired of trickle-down. Trillionaires and billionaires are doing very, very well.” First, as has been noted elsewhere, there are no trillionaires in the U.S. It shouldn’t be too much to ask a U.S president to know this, but Biden, afflicted with a sharp cognitive decline

If an election were held today, a substantial number of those who voted President Joe Biden in November wouldn’t do so now, a new I&I/TIPP Poll shows. This comes after a spate of recent polls from TIPP and others suggesting Biden’s political support is in a freefall as Americans question his leadership on issues ranging from COVID-19 to the chaos on the U.S.’ southern border to the recent botched withdrawal from Afghanistan. The I&I/TIPP Poll asked Americans: “If the presidential election were held today, and the following were the candidates, for whom would you vote?”

Policymakers and public health officials need to be held accountable for their miserable pandemic failures. So should the media, which have no interest in objective news, and are following an agenda that is both repulsive and poisonous. Among the media’s favorite stories of the past 18 months are the deaths of the unvaccinated and those who expressed skepticism about the lethality of the Wuhan coronavirus. A recent example is the death of a 40-year-old California woman, who, according to the British Daily Mail, “regularly posted anti-vax, anti-mask content, proclaiming herself a ‘free thinker’ who ‘questions everything.’ ”
