A Senate committee report released Thursday detailed new instances where former President Donald Trump and his allies sought to use the Justice Department to over turn the 2020 election. With new testimony from officials who served in the highest echelons of DOJ at the time, the report by Senate Judiciary Democrats offers the most comprehensive look to date at both new and previously reported details of Trump's maneuvering in advance of the Jan. 6 insurrection to manufacture doubts about his loss to Joe Biden.

“Manufacture doubts”? We saw the fraud on video in Georgia and Michigan with ballots in suitcases and being dropped off. There was fraud, Biden did not get 81 million votes legally, the 2020 election was stolen. These are facts.

Trying to overturning election fraud is GOOD. A Senate committee supporting election fraud is evil.

At no time did President Trump ever suggest that his goal was to overturn a legitimate election. He was simply defending the Constitution from what was clearly a questionable process. There were thousands of affidavits gathered from both Republican and Democrat poll workers that attested to fraud being committed. There was uncontrivertable evidence based on large data analysis that the vote totals in key swing precints exceeded the number of registered voters and were impossible to have been legitimate. There was key testimony that mail in ballots were delivered on election night without any chain of custody controls or validation safeguards. There were even missing mail truck with boxes full of out of state ballots that have never been accounted for. Anyone who did not question this level of shennanigans would be a fool and a sucker. The people that really threatened the integrity of the election where the minions that refused to be transparent and destroyed legally subpoened evidence as they did in Maricopa Co. AZ. This is the greatest political crime in America's history and no amount of gaslighting by the perpetrators and enablers will ever change that fact with the people who were conned.

All the report does is characterize with prejudice the historic events that took place. To know whether Trumps actions were just you must first determine whether the election was stolen or whether he had valid reason to believe it was stolen. Report is crap wrapped in Senate stationery

Until the election fraud is investigated to MY satisfaction, what Trump was doing can be taken as attempting to protect the election. Go ahead left, make... my... day...

Seems like the report amounts to deliberations by Trump and not actual final decisions by Trump. Besides how can something be described as being “unfounded” until after it is investigated?

Debate is expected at the meeting about the standing in the conference of Reps. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., and Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga. Cheney angered many of her fellow Republicans with a vote to impeach former President Trump, triggering a push by some of the Trump loyalists in the conference to remove her as the conference chair. And intense focus is on Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., over Greene. The GOP leader Tuesday had his long-awaited, in-person talk with Greene – who's shown little if any remorse for previously espousing conspiracy theories. Correction*

The first impression of President Joe Biden’s inauguration speech that Fox News viewers received on Wednesday was from anchor Chris Wallace, who uniformly praised it as “the best inaugural address” he has ever heard. Following Biden’s powerful address in which he declared “democracy has prevailed” and called upon Americans to “end this uncivil war,” the 73-year-old Wallace turned to his Fox colleagues and likened it to all the other presidential speeches he’s witnessed over the years, including that of President John F. Kennedy in 1961.

Divorce usually isn’t a good idea, and that’s especially true of a nearly 250-year-old continental nation. The notion of a national breakup has long simmered as a fringe argument, but it is increasingly popular in certain precincts of the political right and has gained at least some traction with partisans of both sides. A recent survey by the Center for Politics at the University of Virginia found that about 50 percent of Donald Trump voters and 40 percent of Joe Biden voters agreed to some extent with the proposition that the country should split up, with either red or blue states seceding.

One of Colorado’s largest hospital systems has implemented a new policy that denies organ transplants to patients who have not taken the experimental Covid-19 vaccine under “almost all situations.”All organ donors will also have to be vaccinated under the new policy, and it has already stopped one woman from receiving the life-saving treatment she needs.Last month, the University of Colorado Health sent a letter to Leilani Lutali informing her that her status on the waiting list for a kidney transplant was “inactivated” for “non-compliance” because she has chosen not to take the jab.

New York City officials are phasing out the controversial “Gifted and Talented” program for elementary school students, a massive change aimed at addressing racial disparities in the biggest school system in the country. The entry exam identifying students as “gifted” will be eliminated, officials said Friday. Under the old status quo, about 2,500 incoming kindergarteners per year passed the optional exam, going on to spend their elementary school years in separate classrooms and schools.(Snip)The overhaul of the gifted program comes after years of debate and criticism—much of it focused on the fact that white and Asian students made up around 80% of gifted classes despite representing
