President Joe Biden will travel to his home in Delaware on Saturday, according to the White House, after his agenda stalled in Congress due to Democrat infighting. The president spent Friday afternoon meeting with Democrats on Capitol Hill to try to advance his $5 trillion spending agenda, but to no avail. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi failed to meet her Thursday deadline to hold a vote in the House to pass the Senate infrastructure deal, as Thursday turned into Friday without a vote being held. Dementia sufferers don't tolerate changes in their physical environment. There is research to show that some of them, living in nursing homes, die as a result of being moved top a different building. I expect to see Dementia Jo spending more and more time in Delaware for that reason. And his dedicated liars, like Psaki, will gin up some phony reason for the Delaware residency - a physical problem like a bad knee or hip - he was, after all, a self proclaimed all star football player - and his Delaware mansion is more compatible for his condition, since physical modifications have already been completed, and the White House, as an historical building, cannot be modified.. You people heard it here first.

I doubt Joe knows much about the two pieces of legislation the democrats were trying to ram through. I'd bet he doesn't know much about what he's signed in the last 6 months either, which begs the question of whether they are actually legally enacted. And, why did they need to create a fake White House across the street instead of bringing him to the actual White House for his shot the other day, or some of his "zoom" calls? Those are deliberate things with people actively involved in whatever they are doing or hiding.

It SHOULD come under greater Congressional scrutiny, plus the whole federal funds for Presidential Libraries crap. "Inexcusable": Did Biden's infrastructure

Remember that Pelosi will need all of the moderates in her caucus plus a few centrist Republicans to eventually pass the bipartisan infrastructure bill. That’s because some — not all, but some — progressives are demanding that the Senate pass a reconciliation bill before the House votes on anything. But there’s no chance of that happening. The most that Senate Dems like Manchin and Sinema will do in the near term to reassure House lefties that reconciliation will ultimately get done is agree to an informal public “framework.” That may not be good enough for Pramila Jayapal, the Squad, and a few other hardliners.

The latest Associated Press/NORC poll numbers were released yesterday and the news wasn’t very encouraging for President Joe Biden or his supporters. Following several weeks of consistently bad headlines, it would seem that people are beginning to sour on the “Build Back Better” presidency. This poll has consistently been a bit kinder to Biden than some of the other major polling outfits and that was once again the case this week. The report from the AP also seems to try to paint a somewhat more charitable picture, but the reality is that Biden’s numbers were down across the board. But the decline we’re seeing isn’t coming from Republicans and conservatives

The progressives have been throwing fits over the reconciliation bill. They forced a stalemate when they refused to vote on the bipartisan infrastructure bill without having a vote on the reconciliation bill first. Moderates are refusing to move the reconciliation bill first and they have issues in general with the price tag of the bill. The reconciliation bill is generally reported as $3.5 trillion. But as we’ve reported, it’s actually likely far more than that — closer to over $5 trillion — although Democrats are now trying to argue that it will cost “zero dollars.” On top of the spending that we’ve already had this past year,

President Joe Biden deflated the air of urgency around a bipartisan infrastructure vote and tamped down liberal dreams of a $3.5 trillion spending bill in a speech before House Democrats Friday. Hours later, Democratic leaders conceded defeat — at least for now. After weeks of trying and failing to find a legislative solution both the progressive and centrist wings of the caucus could support, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her team passed a bill temporarily funding expiring transportation programs and sent frustrated members home until they can find a solution. “It’s not a success,” House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer said in a brief interview Friday night.

On Saturday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Yasmin Vossoughian Reports,” Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-NY) argued that the $3.5 trillion price tag for the Build Back Better Act reconciliation package “is a modest investment” for an economy the size of America’s. Torres said, “[T]here’s misconception about the price tag of the Build Back Better Act. The Build Back Better Act, the original draft, it is not 3.5 trillion over the course of a year. It’s over the course of ten years. So, it’s $350 billion. Which, for a $20 trillion economy like ours, is a modest investment. So, I think it’s shortsighted to focus on the price tag.”
