Education Secretary Miguel Cardona stopped short of claiming that parents should be the “primary” stakeholders in their children’s education on Thursday.Cardona sat before the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions on Thursday to testify on school reopening strategies and policies around COVID-19. Under questioning from Sen. Mike Braun (R-IN), Cardona refused to call parents the “primary stakeholders” in a child’s education.“Do you think parents should be in charge of their child’s education as the primary stakeholder?” Braun asked the Education secretary.

Yeah, obviously these left wing socialists running our schools don’t want parents to have anything to say about the crap their children are being indoctrinated with. Anal sex, masturbation, if it feels good do it, CRT, etc. If parents don’t like that and want reading, writing , math, history, geography, etc. instead they are RIGHT WING EXTREMISTS! Many of these school boards need to be voted out and replaced with people who have a few brains.

When my oldest daughter was in Kindergarten, forty four years ago, I attended a seminar where one of the lectures was about getting the children to trust their teachers first. I objected vehemently, not believing what I was hearing.
It was explained to me, idiot that I was, that children are afraid of their parents and that confiding in their teacher was best so that they could act as a "buffer" for them, especially teens when they may become sexually active. Since this meeting was for Kindergarten parents, I said that that answer was ridiculous. Again they explained to me, the idiot, that they had to start with the youngest children so that in later years they would know who was "safe" to confide in and avoid the "wrath" of Mom and Dad.
Well, it's forty years later and we have all seen the fruits of this movement. Schools passing out condoms, explicit sex education, teachers taking young girls for abortions and now, excluding the wishes of parents altogether. Now we can add CRT and socialism on steroids.
I've told my kids all of this so that they could protect their own children. I'm hoping that, out of this pandemic there will be an awakening among the kids who were the target of the 1981 seminar, and that will see it first hand now with the eyes of a parent and put a stop to it. Take back our kids.
None of these "educators" will be there to help pick up the pieces of your family when their "experiment" in parental replacement goes bad.

The only stake public schools should have in educating children should be making certain that they are stealing my tax dollars every year. Every local community is different and may have different standards. The parents should be determining what that is and the content of the curriculum. As for tax dollars, I don't have any school age children, so any tax dollars taken from me by force is theft.

All politics is local. Know your school board. In my little town liberalism is creeping in with the influx of wealth. Because they have the dough they believe they get to make the rules. My, oh my, are they pushy! Parents you must advocate for your children or they will suffer from liberal indoctrination. The left never ever stops pushing forward.
