Republicans accused President Biden of lying to the American people after top military officers said publicly for the first time on Tuesday that they advised the commander-in-chief to leave 2500 U.S. troops in Afghanistan to prevent a Taliban takeover. Testimony provided by the country's defense secretary and two senior generals contradicted Biden's claims he was never warned by military advisers that bringing home American soldiers risked the collapse of a fragile government in Kabul. The result was a slew of furious accusations that Biden ignored advice and then lied to the country.Republican Senator Josh Hawley said: 'Here's what I've learned so far: Number one, the president

None of these people is credible. Not one at all. Not the president. Not his generals. In the end, they retain their jobs with their good salaries. But Americans, Britons, French, Afghans, and others SUFFER.
The next president will be mopping up Biden's mess years after Biden is gone from office. And the mess may make the 9/11 attacks look small, especially if the Talibidens hook up with the Chinese, who have already effed the world with their flu.

Milley and McKenzie just questioned the integrity of the Commander-In-Chief. Will they be put in brig too or do the stars on their shoulders given them license to be friggin hypocrites?

Meanwhile, hundreds if not thousands of Americans remain behind enemy lines in Afghanistan while Xiden and his generals play hide the loofah with each other in front of the feckless pukes in Congress.

Biden can just say that he can’t remember what those Generals told him, as with Biden’s declining cognitive abilities it’s easy to see that he could be having memory problems. The country had better hope that Biden does not drag out the nuclear codes and bomb the wrong country some night. Biden has always been a big time Irish Republican Army (IRA) supporter, so if Biden is off his rocker the United Kingdom (UK) had better keep a weathers eye out. Remember when the Democrats fraudulently claim that some Republican has done something underhanded it usually turns out to be related to a similar corrupt act or political dirty trick that the Democrats actually perpetrated.

All these articles say that "Biden had said none of his advisers warned against bringing home all U.S. troops". But they leave out the rest of of what he said, which is "that I can recall".
Biden knew he was lying so he left himself an out. He can say that he didn't lie, he just didn't recall. However, if he says he doesn't remember being told something as critical as this by his top military commanders, it seriously calls into question his mental capacity to be CIC. Not that that's anything new.
Either way the dumb*ss has boxed himself into a corner, and it's yet another example of what an absolute sniveling little weasel he is. Should he be impeached over this? Absolutely.
Will there be any consequences for him? As usual, probably not. I don't think he can look any dumber than he already does.

If Biden says that he cannot remember what his four star General serving as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and his principle military advisor told him about matters of military strategies and tactics to be used in Afghanistan, either he is really not the person in the White House who is actually making top level decisions of peace and war, or the country is in real trouble if situations involving modern warfare occur as long as Biden is in the White House.

Republicans Pounce! The story's focus is on Republicans and not Biden's freaking lies. That's how it works with the press.

Yeah, Gen. Benedict Milley is a paragon of military virtue, isn't he? As #1 says, none of them is believable. If Biden had any of his mental faculties and a touch of courage, #4 has it right. These two should be cashiered. Milley is making a mockery of "civilian control", and no one seemingly cares - including the entire military command cadre. Thank them for their "service"...like an amorous bull in a heifer pen.
