Fox News' Chris Wallace on Sunday pushed back on Greg Abbott's vow to 'eliminate rape' in the Texas governor's defense of the new abortion law that doesn't include exceptions for rape and incest. Wallace played a previous clip of Abbott during Fox News Sunday where the Texas governor said: 'Goal number one in the state of Texas is to eliminate rape so that no woman, no person will be a victim of rape.''Is it reasonable to say to somebody who is the victim of rape and might not understand that they are pregnant, you know, until six weeks, 'Well, don't worry about it because we're going to eliminate rape

Wallace is old, unlikely to get pregnant, and very wealthy. Why not enjoy the Sunday and forget about the sarcastic, obnoxious behavior, or do you live to be obnoxious, Wallace? A lot of people think so.

I admire Governor Abbott, but that was a strange comment. Unless of course we are bringing back the death sentence for rape.

Abortions for rape and incest constitute less than 2% of abortions and most of those occur well within the heartbeat limit via chemical induced abortions.

FTA: "'Including a child of a rape?' Wallace questioned."
Yes, Chris, including a child of a rape. Why should a life lose its right to live based solely on their circumstances of conception? The baby committed no crime. Our culture has this knee-jerk reaction regarding conception due to rape, as if the abortion will erase the assault. Counseling for rape victims is geared totally to abortion. No one speaks for the life of the child, or the long-term well-being of the rape victim. Many victims report the abortion was another violation of their body, not dissimilar to the assault. These findings are never reported in the enemedia, who would rather focus on lurid details.
Many rape victims chose life for their babies...and they are THEIR babies also! I don't know the percentage of those who keep their child or opt for adoption, but those that choose life give powerful testimony every year at the March for Life in D.C. and the Walk for Life in S.F. Their children are survivors of the womb-murders designed to depopulate the earth.
Every life is gift from God, and is sacred from the womb to the tomb. Every Life!

If any woman in Texas just has to slaughter her unborn baby in an abortion, she can still easily do it. She just can't do it in Texas any more if she is more than 6 weeks pregnant. That includes a woman who is pregnant from being raped.
But there are multiple interstates leaving Texas going to Oklahoma, Louisiana, New Mexico, and lots of other states. In just a few hours from anywhere in Texas, she can be in a city in one of those states that does baby slaughter, and kill her baby all she wants.
There won't be any roadblocks. There won't be any men with guns stopping her from leaving. It will just be a little more inconvenient for her. But, as a woman and a mother several times over, I have no problem with it being a little more inconvenient to slaughter an unborn baby!!!

I agree with #3. No one should appear on this show. Best way to defeat this relic is stop putting yourself in the line of fire. No conservative should agree to be on his panel or be interviewed, period. Let him talk to his lefties and allow his ratings to slip further into obscurity. I have been FoxNews-free since November of last year and it has not hurt me a bit - except to afford me much more time to do things that matter. Stop watching people! These faux conservative hosts live in giant mansions, feeding off of your gullibility.

How about "Abortion is murder" as a defense?

It's time to start getting aggressive with these reporters and putting THEM on the defensive. Be nasty to them, put them down, make them feel as small as possible. They're the enemy.

Well, let's bring back the death penalty for rape. If you're willing to kill the innocent victim of crime, lets kill the guilty as well.

Regarding abortions tied to rape . . . There are three victimizations: 1) A woman is raped; 2) An innocent baby is torn to shreds by an abortionist; and 3) a woman is brutalized by an abortionist who regards her as a means to an end: money.

I understand that rape victims are offered the morning after pill to stop any pregnancy. Why aren't they using that to prevent the abortion ordeal?
