Thousands of Haitians are sleeping under a border bridge in South Texas as they try to illegally make a home in the United States, the latest example of a desperate group of people seeking haven in America.
The fresh humanitarian crisis snagged Washington’s attention this week as photos and video of Border Patrol agents on horses chasing down Haitian migrants got national attention. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said he was “horrified” by the images, and fellow Democrats have been outraged over how the Biden administration is handling these Haitian migrants at the border.
At the same time, the United States is preparing to nearly double deportations

I miss the best President Donald J Trump the Great. His election was stolen in a Deep State coup by the military, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google, Bloomberg, Soros, Amazon Post, NYT. Trump shall return.

Why hasn’t Governor Abbott put the National Guard on the border? This is a massive invasion that is creating a national security crisis. He knows his state is a gateway and he should want to protect not only Texas but the rest of the country, I am sure that many states would offer whatever support he would need. To let this go on, is a massive failure on his part. Unfortunately, Texas is on the frontline of this crisis, but the leadership there must act to protect its citizens. I can’t imagine what the people who live near the border think about this. It must be frustrating beyond belief. If Texas will not stand up to this administration, what chance do we have of stopping the 20,000 more that are on the way? Surely, they cannot be okay with what is happening. Politicians must understand that we are beyond the talking stage and need bold leadership. Use the NG, now because Biden intends to destroy our country by any means possible. Massive invasion by the third world is a very effective weapon.

Because the Dems running for President invited them at the debate.

Because California doesn't have a border, #1. It's an express lane.
I agree with #5. Abbott talks and talks but I don't see much action. The Texas National Guard has 19,000 members. Put a rifle in every one of their hands and send them to the border. We are in a life and death struggle for the very existence of our nation, and all I see is a few cars parked door to door being touted as a 'wall' by some. Ridiculous.

I'm horrified by the images too. They should not even be here because our borders are Sovereign and should be RESPECTED, not violated. Benedict Biden is FAILING the American People!

Double deportation? What kind of blind moron is Amber Phillips? Parroting WH talking points makes her a fool, not a reporter.

How do thousands of people from a third world island in the middle of the Caribbean travel 1700 miles across the sea to get to Texas?

I think Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is horrified, not because of the crisis at the border, but because a very damaging picture got into the eyes of the public. Now the Biden regime is frantically trying to recover from this PR disaster. They are moving a small number of the Haitian invaders back to Haiti and dispersing the bulk of them into the USA. Also they are trying to change the narrative by focusing on a picture of an agent on horseback chasing down some of these illegal invaders.

Because Traitor Joe invited them to come into the USA without limits, and offered to give them all green cards and help them become citizens.

You mean you all hadn't heard of that new Air Haiti route from Port-au-Prince to Cuidad Acuna, Mexico? Real popular, but it's only a one-way route. No return flights.
