Former President Donald Trump urged Vice President Mike Pence to 'listen' to a conservative lawyer who drew up a 6-point for Pence to overturn the election results, according to Bob Woodward's new book.Trump made the pitch to Pence in a January 4th Oval Office meeting that included the lawyer, James Eastman, who was then the dean of the Chapman University Law School, and was among a group of figures pushing Trump's electoral fraud claims up until his final days in office.
'You really need to listen to John. He's a respected constitutional scholar. Hear him out,' Trump told Pence,
F Judas Pence.

Pence had no spine to stand up to the Deep State howling hyenas, and he folded up when the times demanded a strong man with a strong will.
I am done with this spineless wonder, no matter what he might say. He has turned tail an run when he was critically needed, and I'll never, ever trust him again.

Trump did not ask Pence to overturn the election. He only wanted Pence to not accept the electors until the States had a chance to review the allegations of election irregularities. The states had plenty of time to do this between Jan 6 and Jan 20th.

Bee Ess. Fish manure is also available. Who in a right mind would believe ANYthing Bob Woodward could make up (and craftily blame on someone else)? Once I am burned I am twice learned and other similar axioms.

It will be interesting to see how history will ultimately judge who was on the right side of justice regarding the 2020 election. Clearly, the SoS officials in multiple swing states who certified the electors had no idea what the real vote totals were and perjured themselves in signing off on them. They can always hide behind bureaucratic incompetence as an alibi but there were plenty of people who provided them with data analysis showing the anomalies in the counts prior to certification to raise serious questions in their mind. They should have demanded audits before signing off.
From the way this election was handled it appears the process was never taken seriously by the officials (Republican or Democrat) with the responsibility to protect its integrity. They all tacitly agreed that Trump had to go by any means necessary and his constituents did not deserve to have their rights considered in the matter. Until their trust is restored in the Republic we can not move forward as a nation.

Pence supposedly considered his role.was."ceremonial". If I cared, I would point out to him that his function was constitutionally defined and I would have dared him to find any recognition of "ceremony" in the Constitution. The man had a job to do and he refused. I wouldn't piddle on him if his hair was on fire. He should stop emailing and texting me.

The phrase “according to Bob Woodward‘s new book” tells me all I need to know. Furthermore, the 6 points sound shady enough to have been concocted by a Democrat.

Key point: though it was barely covered by the media if at all, 7 states sent more than one ballot of electors, if 7 states sent more than ONE individual to be sworn into office as a congressman or a senator? Neither would be sworn in, they would both be sent home for their home state to sort it out.
"Electors" are elected officials, same as concresscritters are. Two cannot be concurrently sworn to hold the same office.
Each individual state would have had to audit/certify their own state elections, fight out exactly WHAT their own state rules required and submit an agreed upon single ballot of electors or choose to NOT submit one at all. ALL of which could have been done between the 6th and the 20th...IF dems hadn't fought against it, it would have been done long before the 6th.

Pence could have delayed certifying the election. What was the hurry certifying fraudulent election counts? The gave months of extra time to do the election fraud, why was there a pants on fire necessity to approve the fraud?

Before anyone gets upset, please consider the source!!!
The "Daily Mail" is a British rag sheet about 40 steps below "The National Enquirer" for journalistic integrity. The have spent the last 6 years printing totally fabricated lies about President Trump -- always by "anonymous sources". Their trash never turns out to be true, but I guess it gets them readers among the brain dead masses of lie-berals out there.
While I do agree that Benedict Arnold Pence did fail in his Constitutional authority, it was never a "conspiracy" to overturn a valid election.

Thanks #5. Remarkably succinct summary--one I'd never heard--of what happened. Trump won, but Pence simply fell flat. We're seeing the result all around us.

The memo looks incomplete. Is this an early draft, or the final document? Was there a first page? A last page with signature?

I believe 81+ million Americans were disenfranchised by DemoniKKKRat cheating in the 2020 election by manipulating the vote, including, but not limited to "adjusting" the vote with the Dominion voting machines.
And the country is now paying the price. I'm afraid things will get worse before they get better, but they'll eventually get better than they were before the most recent election, as we'll essentially have a new country. Then, I propose, we replace the Eagle as the National Symbol with the Phoenix, because it arises from ashes.
