Meteorologist Karl Bohnak, long a fixture on the Michigan weather-prediction scene, has opted out of his job at NBC affiliate WLUC-TV rather than get a coronavirus vaccine. “Today, it is with a heavy heart, I announce after over 33 years, I am no longer employed at TV6,” Bohnak, 68, wrote in a lengthy Facebook post last Wednesday. “I am leaving TV6 because the station’s corporate owner, Gray Television, has mandated vaccination against COVID-19 for anyone entering a property owned by the company. Since I chose not to take one of the shots, I was fired. Many of you have taken one of these injections, and that is

Knowing what we know now, can you blame him?

Smart move.
There are some careful statistical looks at the risk of The Shot versus the risk of the virus and they show between 2 and 6 deaths from The Shot for each life saved by it. The variation is due to using various different databases....so much government confusion and fraud that the numbers of deaths from each source are not accurately reported.
I decided that I was more worried about The Shot than I am the virus.

This is not straight reporting. It becomes an editorial mocking those who will not choose the 'vaccine' and choose to avoid cardiac, clotting, and neurological damage. Daily News isn't fit for cages.

The article starts out just fine stating facts. He was mandated to take the vaccine. He refused to take the vaccine, stated his reasons for refusal, and was terminated. From there, the article devolves from a new article into a Biden administration, Covid vaccine propaganda hit piece against people who do not want to take the vaccine. This can hardly be called a news article after the Daily News went from facts to hit piece. Typical Liberal media smear job.

Of course it's slanted; this is a newspaper that's swirling the drain. The fact remains that a man was forced from his job for something that should not be allowed, he can't collect unemployment, and he'll face the same problem at most other employers because of the 100-employee cutoff. I'm in this boat myself. How am I supposed to pay taxes after I'm fired? Do I need to become an independent contractor unable to afford health insurance? The mandates won't stop here either, just watch. And no one is lifting a finger to stop it.

Very disingenuous article that injects standard misinformation talking points, such as "Vaccines have shown time and time again that they prevent severe illness and death from COVID-19. But Bohnak chose to ignore that, saying instead that the manufacturers are not liable if someone dies or is injured after being jabbed. It was not clear what injuries he was referring to, given that the side effects generally dissipate after a day or two." Never heard of VAERS, have we?
And, of course, the newest gem that appeared this week, "He seemed to think that his chances of death would be higher with the vaccine than from the disease that has wantonly killed more people, as of Monday, in the U.S. than the 1918-19 Spanish flu pandemic." ignoring both the fact that the death rate from COVID is far lower than the 1918 flu and that the mortality numbers are greatly inflated because of 'death with' reporting. Note the characterization of the flu as a 'wanton' killer. A little hyperbolic, perhaps?

Silly me, I started reading this thinking it was an unbiased news article. Ha! This reeks of left wing hysteria and bias.

Of course, it's a lie that (the Lie of the Week?) that C19 deaths have exceeded Spanish Flu deaths.... since many died of something else and were labled as C19 deaths. That's pretty much common knowledge, so why does the Daily Snooze promote the lie?

He’s 68 years old and could have retired before now. He no doubt has a retirement account of some kind and he can get Medicare and social security so it’s not like he’s going to starve or lose his home. But I congratulate him on valuing his life over his job.

It is very easy to write an unbiased news article. As a journalism major many years ago, I was awarded first place in news writing and second place in editorial writing for all college newspapers in my state. After a short relatively short stint in professional journalism, I chose a career in law. Here is what was wrong with the article:
Instead of injecting himself as the voice of authority, the news writer should simply have called an expert with an opposing view and quoted that person. The writer also should have ascertained which, if any, other pharmaceuticals are also given legal immunity for products liability. My guess is that, if true, Covid vaccine manufacturers are uniquely exempted, but. but whatever the answer is, it should have been a quoted statement by an expert. Today's news writers frequently cross the line into editorial commentary, justified by their publications as "bylined" stories. Never in the past did bylines in the news section confer such editorial freedom to reporters. Today such unsourced news writing is a common feature in the shabby landscape of advocacy journalism in America.

First of all, stop calling them 'vaccines'. They are not made using the same process as all of our previous vaccines. They do not work like other vaccines.
It's a genetic modification pof your organism. You become a GMO.
Despite the rabid ignorance of the reporter, his position has merit. And her assertion that all the side effects of the 'vaccines' are known and last only a couple of days (where does she get this stuff? From comic books?)
Suppose we start giving the 'vaccines' to 5 to 12 year olds, as some want to do. Then suppose when they go thru puberty in several years, we find that the vaccines cause sterility or birth defects in the people who have taken them as children?
WE DON'T KNOW what the eventual side effects of mRNA 'vaccines' will be. Since children are extremely unlikely to die from Covid-19, it is insanely reckless to inflict this possible genetic time bomb on them.
I am 68 years old with comorbidities. I have taken the Pfizer 'vaccine' and I am now completing the Moderna (the one that works a bit) 'vaccine'. It makes more sense for me to do so, even if the 'vaccines' are uncertain, because Covid is many times more deadly for me, and I'm nopt betting fifty yearsof myu life on a bad roll of the dice.
If it is your own body, make your own choice. If you are choosing for others who depend on you, think about it well before you do it.

Bedrock America right there, baby. Let them inject you with a profitable liquid or hit the bricks, ineligible for unemployment because you're insubordinate to what should be an illegal request. It's obscene that we have only a single party in this failed nation, and people have to fight this individually.
