CIUDAD ACUÑA, Mexico—Riquet Terneus, 34, left Haiti with his wife and 7-year-old daughter three months ago, searching for a new home for his family. "Haiti doesn't provide safety," he said. "People are scared to go out on the street. If you need any services or a hospital, there's nowhere to go." In the months since Terneus left, Haitian President Jovenel Moïse was assassinated and a 7.2 magnitude earthquake killed more than 2,000 in the small nation. Terneus says the worst part of the journey from South America was crossing the rainforest on foot in Panama's Darien Gap. After a month of waiting in Tapachula, Chiapas on Mexico's southern border,

America is not the America it used to be. You might want to go someplace else, Mr. Haitian. Remember, we gave you the thieves bill and hitlery, and they stole you folks blind.

But didn't the Clintons promise to sink money, and time and talent into making Haiti the paradise it should be? Didn't people "give" money to the Clinton Foundation to make this come to pass without any favors asked in return? s/o

Why would anyone want to come here? According to the libs we are the worst racist, homophobic country of all time. We have even asked the UN to judge us for the sin of slavery even though some of the nations judging us still have active slavery in place.
Wait, maybe it is the freebies that we will have to pay to support all of them.
Biden wants a new group of voters. He is importing them quickly. Amazing he wants us all to get "the shot" because of all the covid cases and yet he lets in millions of illegals from over 100 countries with who knows what diseases. He is putting them all over the US and then has the audacity to say "cases are rising". Gee ya THINK?
Also these migrants and refugees, through family unification, bring in about 10-12 family members EACH. So if we get 2 million here this year that means a total of 22 million will be here soon. Then the dems want to pass HR1 to give them all amnesty and voila instant dems forever in power.

Haiti is an island and not that close to Mexico. How did all these people get to the Mexico/Texas border ?????? Don't tell me they swam.

# 3 - I was thinking the same way as you about bringing all these illegals here. The democrats think they will have an undefeatable voting block. But, once they get here, they will see what's going on. America is being turned into a communist country. I have a sneaky feeling they don't want that either. I feel sorry for these people but we really can't afford to take in untold millions of people from other countries. I know, maybe George Clooney will part with some of the millions he stole from the charity he created for them and collected hundreds of millions for them, then he kept it.

What happened to asylum seekers / refugees / illegal aliens (or whatever we're calling them these days) seeking that asylum / refugee status from the closest country that can take them in. Mr. Terneus could have started with the Dominican Republic, then Brazil, then Guayana, then ...
Or, is it those Caribbean, South and Central American countries and Mexico don't WANT to take them in and have more common sense that the US does under Biden?
As a side note, who wants to bet a dollar that these 1000s of Haitians get sprinkled in small groups across the US and never see the inside of a plane to take them back?

Not all these people came directly from Haiti. The report I saw yesterday said in 2010 many Haitians had migrated to Brazil & Argentina - because of the chaos caused by that 2010 earthquake. Haitian expats in the US heard about Sec. Mayorkas changing the expulsion policy (last week) - that DHS would stop evicting Haitians who were here illegally. They called their friends & families from all over the world -l ikely connected on social media showing how to walk across the river on that dam -and this what we now have. As big mess.

FTA: 'Riquet Terneus, 34, left Haiti with his wife and 7-year-old daughter three months ago, searching for a new home for his family.' And in the same way, burglars are 'searching for new possessions.' Only this isn't breaking and entering; it's breaking and squatting.

My paternal grandfather came from Sweden in the early 1900's looking for a new life. He came through legal channels, passing through Boston. Waiting for him was an apartment, a job and a sponsor who accepted responsibility for him so he wouldn't go on charity. He also had to pass a medical exam which checked him for everything from lice to sexual diseases, plus anything contagious or chronic. He assimilated completely. He never flew the Swedish flag or spoke Swedish outside of the home, nor did he insist others learn Swedish to communicate with him or provide legal documents in Swedish. My grandparents kept their Swedish heritage in the home where it belonged. We had a smorgasbord every Christmas eve and we still have some family recipes that he brought over, including one for Glögg that would put hair on your chest!
Those invading our country from the south, regardless of where they are coming from or their circumstances back in their home country need to go back and apply the legal way. If they can't be bothered to do that much, then we have no place for them here. We're all full up with indolent layabouts who want to take advantage of our social services but don't want to assimilate, learn to speak, read and write English or stop waiving their national flag!!

I truly feel sorry for these people BUT there are other ways than illegal practices. We have a system and they need to use it.

We already have a surplus of citizens who are not willing to fight against a corrupt government, we don't need thousands more who would not fight theirs and chose to flee.

The U.S. has spent untold trillions over the last 60 years helping poor countries. We're tapped out. Time for those in those poor countries to start helping themselves, and make changes to where they are, and stop looking for handouts.

We all must stand firm that when we take back our Republic, all illegal aliens, I mean every single one of them, must be deported out to our country, regardless of how long they have been residing as law breaking criminals in our country. No exceptions. And don't tell me their are too many to deport, we sent back over six million Japanese soldiers in 6 months after World War II to Japan from all the countries that they had occupied throughout Asia.
Them must all go home.

Sorry, wrong color, wrong nation.
Communists are very selective on who gets to disrupt. It's all about numbers, and there aren't enough Haitians to fit into their plan.
