California Governor Gavin Newsom’s first move after he beat the recall effort in California was to sign legislation allowing lots to be subdivided which would effectively eliminate suburbs. The legislation was obviously frowned upon by suburban voters. As The New York Times reported, lawmakers were worried about “angering suburban voters, whose preferences for single-family home living have been regarded as politically sacrosanct.” SB 9 “was furiously opposed by homeowners and local government groups who said it ‘crushes single-family zoning’ and would be ‘the beginning of the end of homeownership in California,'” the Times said. In a statement, Newsom’s office announced that President Joe Biden

Comments:

Of course he did. It was one of Comrade Obama's platforms too. This is dangerous if it ever gets a foothold. The decaying, stinking cities many of us escaped from with hard work will be brought to us again.
And in other news: guns are flying off the shelves.

The Demonrats have said for years that they despised the suburban lifestyle, and wanted it erased. Now they are doing it. Remember, they hate all things which are the heart of the American middle class lifestyle which we have freely created and chosen over the last century or more. They see happy middle class people living in affordable comfort, in low crime, with little strife, good patriotic education for children in a safe environment and it angers them. They seek to destroy it in every way that they can.

An ex-GOP legislator is spending $15,000 to inform motorists traveling on Pennsylvania roads that President Joe Biden is “making the Taliban great again.” Scott Wagner, a former state senator and unsuccessful gubernatorial candidate in the Keystone State, is renting about 15 billboards with that message over the next two months that also depicts a smiling Biden in Taliban garb holding a rocket launcher. The first one apparently popped up along Interstate 83 in Pennsylvania’s York County. Wagner has described the botched U.S. troop withdrawal from Afghanistan, which led to the Taliban rapidly taking over after the country’s government and security forces practically

President Joe Biden hoped his authoritarian vaccine mandate would take the heat off his administration’s disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal. While his political calculation was not a complete success, it certainly reminded Americans about some fundamental ideological divides. A sentiment Biden expressed during his speech announcing the mandates crystalized these differences. This is not about freedom or personal choice. It’s about protecting yourself and those around you. The people you work with. The people you care about. The people you love. My job as president is to protect all Americans.

The rule will affect over 80 million people, according to the plan. Employees at health care

Most of the United States’ unvaccinated population are not moved by the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) approval of Pfizer’s vaccine for the Chinese coronavirus, a recent ABC News/Washington Post survey found. The survey found that unvaccinated Americans are overwhelmingly unfazed by the FDA’s approval of Pfizer’s vaccine — a move President Biden hoped would prompt private businesses to “step up” vaccine requirements. While the survey found the majority of Americans have gotten the jab, data suggests the remaining unvaccinated population, comprised of roughly 90 million in the U.S., are firm in their decision to refuse the shot, wholly unmoved by the FDA’s approval of Pfizer’s jab.
