We still await the Ohio 9th Circuit Court of Appeals decision in which (1) Oberlin College is challenging the compensatory and punitive damage awards totalling, after reduction under Ohio tort reform law, $25 million, plus over $6 million in attorney’s fees, bringing the judgment to over $32 million, and (2) the cross-appeal by Gibson’s Bakery and two members of the Gibson family (including the widow of the late David Gibson) seeking to restore the full $33 million punitive damages award.

FTA: “The Facebook records played zero role in the trial and verdicts, but first Oberlin College then its Cleveland media friends tried unsuccessfully to get the records unsealed as part of a post-trial attempt to smear the Gibsons as racists. Is it just coincidence that the one media entity, WEWS-TV, still pursuing this in the Ohio Supreme Court also is where Oberlin College’s lead trial counsel formerly was a legal commentator for a decade? LOL if you believe in coincidences. ... “The Facebook account is not connected to Gibson’s Bakery, Dave, or Grandpa Gibson. Instead, it was Intervenor’s private, personal Facebook account. Exhibit G contains a grouping of unauthenticated, private Facebook messages that allegedly came from the mirror image of Intervenor’s Facebook account.” As Professor Jacobson writes: ““Answer: WEWS-TV “deserves no relief in this action because [it] is not a disinterested media company seeking to report on a legal case; instead, [it] has directly allied itself with Oberlin Parties and its campaign to bully and destroy the Gibson Parties’ family, reputation, and brand.”

According to an article published in the Oberlin Review dated August 20, 2021, Oberlin College has had a problem coordinating housing “to accommodate the largest number of students Oberlin has ever had on campus” as the College “welcomes over 900 first-years – roughly 100 students more than the projected number.” According to the article, “The cost of staying on campus through the September break is $100 per week for housing and $86 per week for dining, at a required meal plan of three meals per day.” Referencing an Oberlin College link for admissions and aid/tuition and fees, Oberlin College Costs 2021-22 are Tuition $59,384; Housing $8,858; Meal Plan $8,996; Fees $909*; Total $78,147. Estimated Expenses: Books $930; Personal Expenses $978; Travel Varies. Student health insurance is available for purchase at a cost of $2,184 for the 2021-2022 academic year, billed in the fall semester. Students who have other adequate coverage are not required to purchase this insurance. Note: The $909* Fees includes a refundable $50 “Green Fee.” Students may waive this fee if they do not wish to support the Green Edge Fund.

Oberlin College needs to be dissolved and made an example of, regarding the protection of CRIMINALS because of their race. The overt racism, in this case, belongs to Oberlin College, not the Gibsons.

Scientists have discovered that fully vaccinated individuals carry 251 times the viral load of Covid in their nostrils compared to the unvaccinated. The researchers, who detailed their findings in a paper by the prestigious Oxford University Clinical Research Group published Aug. 10 in The Lancet, found that while the jab moderates symptoms of infection, it also allows vaccinated individuals to carry unusually high viral loads without becoming ill at first, potentially transforming them into pre-symptomatic superspreaders. “This phenomenon may be the source of the shocking post-vaccination surges in heavily vaccinated populations globally,” Dr. Peter McCullough noted in an Aug. 23 analysis for Children’s Health Defense’s The Defender.

Following Stanford University, the Lorain County-based college is now the second higher education institution in the United States and third in the world to make use of Certified Climate Bonds for campus construction projects. The green financing avenue can only be used for projects that align with the Paris Climate Agreement’s goal of limiting global warming to less than 2 degrees Celsius compared to temperatures before the age of industrialization.
